heard about this place many times between Yelp and Hockomock swamp Supper Club. Decide to stop in Wareham center today while we were on the cape and grab a coffee which they have flavored coffees and something to snack on. We ended up getting the blueberry muffin their famous cinnamon rolls and a lemon pineapple raisin muffin. Everything was as good and then some as all of the reviews that I had seen the muffins are very moist lots of fruit inside matter fact more fruits and muffin LOL. The cinnamon roll was very tender flaky lots of frosting like we like and well-cooked. The serving people were absolutely out of this world the lady was very helpful explained everything and made my order I got a butter pecan hot coffee and a medium regular iced coffee. I told him how I heard such great reviews about their cinnamon rolls and they ended up giving me a free cinnamon roll. Everything was exactly like people had describes and then some looking forward to going back and having breakfast at some point but they close in like 45 minutes actually under an hour and I didn't want to be rushed to eat so we just grab something quick. Place is very clean need inside everyone is social distance and acceptable and the only owner I apparently believe it is and the lady that works at a very very nice definitely worth a trip and a hidden jewel in the downtown of Wareham on Main Street it is four doors up from Cumberland farms...
Read more5 stars to me means the best-of-the-best among other characterizations. I'm not sure where you are eating but? For sure, the Riverside Cafe in Wareham puts-out a solid breakfast experience. This is a quaint and friendly local Cafe which caters to societal, local, and regional eating habits. My case-in-point can be found in their table condiments. (Picture included) This is a comfy enough restaurant which surrounds you in what could be described as your grandmother's over exuberant omage to candyland. As cited in many other reviews; the service and staff are a very friendly and talkative lot/bunch. We were engaged in a conversation regarding a shared affinity for crime detctive television. The food was prepared quickly and to order, and in fairness, the crowd was light. The omelettes were presented very well and the taste was good and served appropriately warm, but would require some seasoning to enhance the flavors. The coffee was of mid-range quality, but certainly better than Farmer Bros. The [side] of beacon was large, tasty, and crispy. Their popular cinnamon toast is good but comes with a layer of sugar on the crust which for me is not preferred. Overall, the rating should be in the range of 4.1-4.3...
Read moreSimple, no-frills breakfast place where you get great food, friendly service and affordable prices. The hash is homemade, delicious, and makes the "Irish" eggs benedict crazy good. I've been there several times over the last few years and found consistent quality in the food. The coffee is the only thing that is sort of mediocre, pretty much what you get in most breakfast places. But that's not so much knocking their coffee as me saying I like mine a little more robust. Little details like bacon cooked crispy but not burnt, perfectly poached or over-easy eggs for those of us who love nice runny yolks, fruit or baked beans as choices instead of home fries, are really what makes this place shine. Like most great breakfast places, if you go at peak times on weekend mornings expect to wait a little, but it's worth the wait. The girls are very accommodating and will move tables around to seat larger groups when they can, but it's a small place so bear that in mind too. Counter seating is also available and a big plus for one or two people if you don't want to wait for a table. It's really a great little...
