NEVER AGAIN !! Been ordering food there for YEARS. Some of my family's favorites come from here, never had any major problems aside from small mistakes on a order here and there..no big deal...Until yesterday. I place and order online and receive conformation, soon after I receive a notification that it is out for delivery. After OVER an hour I call and inquire about the status of my order. The kid on the phone says they are all out of 2 of the items I ordered and that they tried to call me 10 times. I reciceived no calls, if this was due to a wrong number, whatever, I didn't receive any. It was near closing time so the kid says to call back and tomorrow they will deliver the order no charge (although I apparently already got charged). So the next day call and politely ask to speak with a Manager. I ended up getting passed to an elder woman with slightly broken English. Seeing as I have been eating here for DECADES I was familiar with who she was. She could be a little short and have what could be perceived as a rude demeanor at times, other times she can be sweet. I calmy and politely explain to her the situation and she recalls, she was there the night before. After some back and forth she concludes that since I didn't answer the phone they threw away food they prepared ( for what reason I Don't know) and I would have to eat the cost and would NOT be getting my food. I very rarely post reviews. In fact, when I do they are to point out excellent service or quality, but this situation just bothers me and others should know.
I ordered five pizzas for a retreat at 2:00 pm in the afternoon for delivery by 6:45 pm. The timing was critical to the retreat schedule. At 6:45 pm I received a call indicating that they were running an hour late for delivery!!!
I told them that I had ordered early to assure that I would have the pizza on time as the retreat schedule required a certain time for meals. I asked him what he was going to do to make up for this disaster...he told me that his call was his solution!
He told me he would call me and update me when the pizzas were going out. He did but when he called he said that the pizza was done, but he was just waiting for a driver.
After nearly an hour late...the pizza arrived...and it was COLD! It threw off the timing of the first evening of the retreat.
I asked for an adjustment and got nothing. He told me that I was lucky because if I had called then I would have to wait three hours for delivery! I told him that is why I ordered at 2:00 pm as I was instructed to do by a young lady I spoke to the day before!
Every business makes mistakes and I accept that having been in business myself...but the true measure of a business is what they do when they make a mistake. They did NOTHING!

I went to Minerva's pizzeria on Main St. Wareham, in May 21, 2024. I was very hungry due to being at Tobey hospital for 5 hours. I visited this pizzeria but I was sooo disappointed that I wanted to leave after placing my order . The cook made a comment and said: It's about time you made your order after holding up my people. I'm like... I'm a customer and I have all the right to take my time to see what I actually want to eat. He was very obnoxious and rude.He kept screaming at his workers ( young kids) and he was non- professional. I told the young kid that if the cook was the boss only because he sounded like he was the boss. Will never go there again. This guy can't handle his job.Mad at the whole world. I was like... Really !!!! I just spent 54.00 dollars on subs. Sorry if you don't like my truthiness. It is what it is. Sign me.... Ivan the great. From New...
