Nassif Pool — Local services in Warrensburg

Today was the second time going to this pool, sense the first time we went we all had a blast. Today we didn’t, my 11 yr old daughter and I were harassed by a group of 5 teen boys. It all started when I asked the boys if they would stop diving in the pool and in the process hitting my daughter and other children. After all the side we were on clearly stated no diving. They continue to dive in so my daughter and I moved to the other side of the pool. After doing so the boys followed and continued to dive into the pool. I decided to take my daughter over to the river walk and they proceeded to follow and then started calling my daughter names. Mind you I told 3 lifeguard employees and they ignored me. At that point I’ve had enough and had to call Warrensburg pd. Once calling the police a manager approach me and they then had their security guard come talk to me and my daughter. An entire hour and half my daughter and I were taunted by this group of boys and none of the employees done nothing til I called police to the pool. I am not a resident of Warrensburg. Ill never go to Warrensburg pool again and if I could rate this pool...

We drove an hour to explore this pool with the slides and lazy river. When we arrived a note at the gate said “Lap Pool Closed Today”. Realizing my tween kids were not going to swim laps I happily gave my $30 CASH for 5 entries and entered only to realize that the “lap pool” indeed included the only big slide and diving board. I immediately turned around explained my situation to the desk staff and asked for my cash back so we could leave. They have a “no refund” policy. I spoke with the lifeguard manager who was nice but couldn’t help me. I tried the front desk again and was given a number to the manager who could actually do something who happened to be on lunch and I would have to continue to wait another 30 minutes. When I tried to explain again about my understanding the front desk clerk said she did UPDATE the sign. While I’m glad future patrons will have the opportunity to make an INFORMED decision BEFORE entering I’m still upset that she wouldn’t budge on my situation. So if you have 5 year olds go have fun. I enjoyed the pool and the cost wasn't too expensive but only big gripe about this place is the damn lifegaurds and thier over use of athority. I get the no horseplay, i understand that but when i am holding my girl from behind in a loving way i get whistle blown and yelled at for no horse play like I'm a f#$king kid. This has happened to me on three different occasions and frankly its put me off the pool. And its no only my experience, i seen them blow the whistle on other people for no real reason, yet when something serious is happening like a kid horse play, the whistles are no where to be heard. I like this pool but if the lifegaurds do not loosen up and dont pay more attention to people that actually are breaking the rules, i will take my business else where like knob noster or Higginsville. Hell i will spend the extra money to go to worlds of fun. I didnt spend twenty years in the military risking my life and limb to be talked down like some child for hold my girl...
