Grover Park — Attraction in Warrensburg

I mean I think the city needs to put more things around here for for kids ranging from 12 16 honestly because honestly I could tell you some things kids need things to do don't just put a skate park I mean whoever designed some of these I mean do they even skate or do they even have kids to play at parks I don't know from my experiences from ever since I was a kid till now I just it just seems like they put it there just to do it there's no loving it doesn't seem like there's no heart in it it's just there because it passed like some sort of majority vote or something I'm not sure how it works but and that makes me sad for real cuz I grew up with the things like that in Italian and I just wish there is good positive things for kids around those ages to keep them occupied and keep their minds busy and even the community center from what I seen of it I have for a building that size it should have a lot of cool things in there honestly I wasn't really impressed I know I just think about the kids a lot of these days growing up they need good positive things to look forward to and positive influences Maybe taking like some type of survey or asking the kids around those ages what they would like and see...

As far as the actual playground, this park is almost always kept in good condition. There is a broken baby swing currently, but this is the first I've seen broken equipment stay broken more than a week. There is lots of wide open space and big trees beside the playground and it's primarily designed for 5 years and older, but has swings and slides for the littler ones too. It can be very busy during peak times. There are bathrooms nearby, but I have never been in them so those aren't part of this rating. Just FYI that there is a waterway right by the park and kids love to get into it, but it is slick and the water quality questionable. This is a very popular place for Birthday Party's, has everything a young family can go and watch there child play within a warm safe playground. It has a very large area with plenty of climbing to look forward too. It also has and attached huge Shelter with several grills and many attached tables. Nearby are trails that are not maintained yet possible, others that are, several cool caves with following water. Don't forget the Large Off Leash Dog Park around the corner...
