I went to Petco I’m actually still sitting in the parking lot so I walked threw the front doors just like everyone else went down a couple of the fish isles then went to fish I walked in around 7 20 . So i was looking and waiting for someone to come help get the two fish I just came all the way here for as I’m waiting I’m thinking man can’t believe I haven’t been helped so I walk up to the casher who looks at me and I say hey I just need help getting two fish and she tells me oh we are closed she is looking around like this girl just broke in the store rolling her eyes at me and of course I had something I wanted to by in my hands as she is walking me to the door to let me out she was like I’m just going to need that back. I say ya of course I was just going to buy them. She just treated me like she just caught me brokering in and was in the middle of robbing them when I walked up to her for her help because they apperantly don’t do there job like they are supposed to and tell people they are going to be closing and at least walk threw the store to make sure people are not waiting to be freaking helped. I can’t even believe what just happened and how it was handled. That bigger lady cashiering is not a fit person for that job for sure. Wish I could leave zero stars but then I wouldn’t be able to let everyone know how well Petco does there job in Warrenton at closing. So I’m just going to start going some where elder tonight was the last time I go here and I used to go here...
Read moreI received EXCELLENT customer service over the phone from the assistant store manager Jeff. Even though I snapped at him and acted like a total Karen, he was patient, kind, understanding, and resolved my issue quickly!
I'm giving 4 stars because when I got to the store I tried to tell (politely) the customer service rep that I needed help getting the item I was picking up (a 40 gallon tank) she just kept interrupting me and telling me to go grab it. (I'm 4"11 and 100lbs wet, I have no business picking up a tank that size by myself). So I went to find it myself, haphaphardly loaded it onto a cart and had to move things out of the way to get it up front. A couple of employees saw me struggling to get the tank onto the cart, thru the store and out to my car without offering to help. To be fair, after her basically refusing to even let me ask for help I didn't attempt to ask anyone else. I normally get really good service here and they take better care of there animals then any other location I've been to so I'm going to chalk this up to a combination of (it looked like) there were only 3 employees in the store and an assumption on the original cashiers part that they were items I could grab, or possibly laziness but I prefer to give people the benefit...
Read more06-04-25 We took our 10 year old service dog and our 1.5 year old puppy (service tobe) in for a bath at 3:00 to Autumn, the groomer. With "7 years experience" you would think she would know how to handle a playful pup. The 10 year old is so mellow, and usually loves to be groomed. When we arrived after there grooming, 1hr. 45 min. We were informed that she was unable to control the puppy and the 10 year old just wanted to sit. Autumn informed us she will have to "BLOCK" our puppy "Shena" from any further grooming appointments at Petco. "Rex" would not cooperate for his bathing either, just sat. In the 16 months we have had Sheba, NO ONE has every said Sheba was that much of a problem(grooming them every two weeks). Where does Autumn get off with blocking Sheba for "safety reasons" ??? And speaking for the Petco entire company "Company policy". We use Petco exclusively, except when in Yuma Arizona where we use Petsmart due to there isn't any Petco around. Please support us by selecting another groomer other then Autumn or this Petco store 1257 in Warrenton, Oregon.
