A few months ago we purchased a new living room set and had a fabulous experience. We came back July 13th to purchase a dining room set. The set I chose was a pub height and I wanted standard. I was told it would be an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery. Not a big deal. I have someone come and remove my old table to make room for the new set. We reach the two week mark, no one contacts me, no table comes. I call- some snotty girl tells me my sales person is off so they'll have to call me back because she has no info and he has to explain. Explain what? Xavier calls the following afternoon to tell me he misread the delivery information wrong. Unfortunately, I won't receive my new table set until 8/11/19. I SPECIFICALLY ASK, you are sure my table set will be in my dining room on 8/11- Response: Absolutely. Wait two more weeks I get a call from Xavier at 8 pm on 8/10 asking if anyone called about the delivery. We say no. He says he'll call us right back. 15 minutes later he calls and says he doesn't know what's happening but now the estimate for our set is around 8/19 and he cannot guarantee it will not be later because "they just don't know". I ask what my options are (choose another set/get my money back etc) as I have now waited 4 weeks for a table that is suppose to be delivered in two! I am put on hold again. He comes back to inform me that Carol says my order is "Nonrefundable and not exchangeable" . I ask: So I spend $1200+ and pay in full on a table that I don't have and no one can guarantee I'll have in the foreseeable future??? Xavier says the manager is on vacation until tomorrow but he will have her call me ASAP when she comes in the next day. I have received no call or no future. Perhaps they are confused on the way business works? If I do not hear from someone by the end of business I will be reporting to the BBB, Attorney general (yes, it's illegal to make a sale, not provide the product in the specified amount of time or at all and then refuse to refund) and anyone else to have your business license revoked for practicing...
Read moreI can't say enough about what a great experience this was! From start to finish I had such a positive enjoyable experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young salesman. He introduced himself and asked if he could be of assistance. We told him that we were just looking for now. He allowed us to move freely about the store without following us around or hovering, which I totally appreciated! I avoid salespeople at all costs. I don't like to be pressured or sold to and I certainly don't like to have someone think they can dupe me into purchasing something I didn't intend to buy. I was getting close to making a decision and right on time over walks the very same salesman who introduced himself on my way in! Keith Garcia was his name and he was nothing short of amazing. He was so funny and personable! Never once did I feel like he was trying to scam me or force me to buy something I didn't want or need. He offered the 5 year protection plan in a way that wasn't pitchy or pressured. He simply stated the perks of having this protection and how Raymour and Flanigan's protection plan differed from that of their competition. Clear, honest and concise. I took the plan. Again, I appreciated being treated like a person and not a number. I usually find myself rushing to get the transaction over with...not this time. Once everything was paid for and the deal was done he walked us to the front door. Still chatty and personable even though the sale was made. I am thinking about getting a new dining set and I have no doubt in my mind where I will purchase it or who I will ask for when I arrive. Read moreOn December 17, 2023 had a great and positive experience at Raymor and Flanagan Outlet. This is my second time going there and I was pleasantly pleased again. Good vibes. No pushy sales people. I was looking for reclining furniture. I was greeted by Laura. She was very pleasant and personable. Not fake either. Helped me with my choices and calculated different price options available on reclining sets. She also offered me different financing plans that the company has which is helpful to know. Laura even helped me with finding the style of fireplace I was looking for to match my new reclining set. Laura was very patient, caring and down to earth with me and my son. Laura even asked her boss Ivan for a discount on my purchase. Ivan was more than willing to help his employee get their customer some savings. He's got great leadership skills and sense of humor too. When I went to cash out my card got declined. I did not know the banks put a daily spending limit and they have no customer service available on Sunday. I was upset and Annoyed! The nice young lady who deals with the cashiering told me that I can put a small down payment and then Laura let me know that I can pay for the rest of the purchase online on Monday. I did not want to do this if I have the money in my account. Aury, she's another sales rep who's the sweetest, over heard and assisted me by letting me know that this has happened before with one of her customers and to try splitting the amount of the purchase and it worked.
