The other day was my second time to visit New Asia House, and both times were a great experience! Both times we ordered a variety or items, and everyone at the table enjoyed what they got. The dim-sum is really good here, with a good variety to choose from. Both times we ordered the classic old school Chinese restaurant stand by; pu pu platter. It’s sort of kitschy, but comforting in all its faux Polynesian glory. The best thing about the pu pu platter, and maybe even my entire visit, was the chicken wings that come with it. So, in the name of full disclosure...I must say that I’m not really a chicken wing aficionado. I mean, they’re ok. But, when I had these wings on my first visit here, I loved them, they were awesome! I wondered if they were always so good... if they could possibly be that good all of the time. I vowed to return, to get the wings again, and find out. Yes, they’re great wings, no sauce, no rub, no nothing. Just a simple plain wing that’s super good. Try them. You’ll see. Besides that, the rest of the meal and service was great both times. We’ll be back again!

Goirlfriend and I ordered the spicy house pad Thai, and it compelled me to leave my first ever food review on Google. Firstly, there is ZERO flavor to the noodles. It’s clear to me that they were simply boiled and placed directly into my container, they’re bloated, soggy, and mushy. Second, there is no sauce of any kind on them. Just bland boiled egg noodles with two pieces of beef, two pieces of shrimp, and two pieces of chicken, costing nearly 20$. The picture I have below is after pouring general Taos sauce and soy sauce in order to give it some kind of flavor because believe me when I say it tastes like I’m eating wet white rice. All in all it’s a shocking disappointment considering we just moved into the area and this restaurant is less than an 10 minute drive for us and we’re looking for a new go to takeout restaurant. I’m hoping this is a one off mistake. If so, and I will order again in the near future to make sure and will update the review

A la carte dim sum AND a separate Chinese menu you can request 👀 We were sad when Silver Crystal closed it's doors but this place has a great assortment of dim sum dishes and authentic dishes you could ask about. Def worth a try. Loved the variety! More than just dim sum too, if you want this or that. This place is a big enough space where they could have a cart service for dim sum and could be more known if they advertised a bit more on what they have to offer. We tried this place on the advice of a foodie friend from Queens, so ya know they would not recommend slightly 😁 This should be RI's go to for Dim Sum!

We have a tradition every year for my son, he wants Hibachi. So made a reservations show up and here we go. Things were all good until the host told my wife she can just share my noodles with me during the order taking. Our Chef comes out, very polite and introduces himself as “Jimmy” he throws an onion on the grill, not stacked or anything lights it on fire and that was the highlight of the show. Nothing else happened beside him cooking and telling us what he was placing on the grill. No frill, no thrill, it was highly disappointing. Each person in our party was fed from each part of his cooking, but the last person in our party, my wife, got only a quarter of the food that everyone else got. Our steak was still moving and 0 seasoning! I signed the bill trying not to be that guy and complain just didn’t leave a good tip. The host of our night walks up to me and says mandatory 15%, you cheap! I responded very politely, proud moment, your lucky I paid at all, no show, and my wife didn’t even get a full meal. She said ok and walked away. No sorry, nothing! Super high price and no show,...

We arrived on Sunday at 7:00.My husband and I had the Hibachi,. The mixed vegetable looked old and browned prior to cooking. After everything was cooked, the shrimp were very strong tasting. The chicken was very rubbery and had a strong sulfur smell. We couldn’t eat it. The server came over and asked us how it was. I told her that neither of of could eat our meals . I explained what was wrong. And she smiled and walked away. A couple minutes later we asked for the check. By then I was thinking she didn’t understand very much English. Next, I asked to speak with the manager . She can back and said no manager today. She offered half off the bill, but we said no need to do that. We just wanted the manager to be aware of the quality of food we were served. Then a man dressed in all black who worked there cane over to us and said ‘This place not for you! “. No wonder there were only two other parties in the place. We eat out way more than I would like due to work. There are much better hibachi restaurants in the area. Kon In East Greenwich and Shogun in Warwick are...
