DO NOT GO TO THIS GAME STOP. I had a terrible experience today at the Warwick GameStop. I went to trade into games and a controller that were Xbox and he told me do I want cash for store credit and I told him I’ll just take the cash. I’ll look at the little screen and it says $18 but he hand me $10 and I asked I said why does the screen say 18 but you only handed me 10 he told me because I asked for cash but I explained to him that he never told me that I would get more money for store credit. I said you’re shorting me eight dollars I asked to see a manager he told me he was his name is Jake. I said well I want store credit he said I can’t do that. I already put it through then I told him I said here’s the $10 back. Give me my stuff back because this is a scam you just sorted me eight dollars and didn’t even tell me that I was gonna get more money first store credit all he had to say to me over and over was that I told him cash and he supposed to be a manager not a very good one if you don’t explain to your customers that it is this amount of price for store credit, and this price for cash but I was never told. Jake also told me that I couldn’t get my stuff back because everything went through and then he said to me be back there at a certain time today. Talk to some buddy else so now I have to go back and talk to somebody else. NEVER COME TO GAME STOP AND NEVER TALK TO JAKE! I hope I can get this taken care of because clearly THE...
Read moreThis store specifically: Cool team members. All of them are really nice, but there's a worker there that is consistently friendly with everyone. I go in every month for a Steam card, and have always been greeted. I recently bought a console for the first time in a few years, and there wasn't any attitude for some of the really dumb questions I had.
Corporate Gamestop: 3/5 Stars As for my review of Gamestop as a CORPORATE, which has NOTHING to do with the team members of this store/location. It's pretty upsetting that Gamestop is forcing the only stock of Playstation 5's to be in artificial "bundles". For a $499.99 device, I was 'forced' to pay $750 for a whole bundle. $75 Gamestop gift card, Elden Ring, extra remote controller, and the console itself. The ironic part is that it's the same price/more expensive as buying everything BY ITSELF.
It's a forced bundle for Gamestop to profit off a limited stock on a popular console. On the itemized reciept, I was also charged $59.99 for Elden Ring, when it sells for $49.99. Shame. At least give $30 off the forced bundle, to make it an...
Read moreDon't support GameStop. They almost never have the best pricing. They will give you next to nothing on trade ins based on what they resell for. Other than buying a used game close to new prices I don't see any reason why anyone would shop here. Some employees are very helpful and knowledgeable but quite often I find they are not well trained and are just there to push people who don't know any better to buy things they don't need. Buy used from online vendors or new games or accessories anywhere else. I'd shop Walmart before I shop game stop. Most of the time you can buy digital for much...
