If you haven't been to Gabe's, what are you waiting for? Set aside some time because this will be a fun trip. So much name brand items to discover from furniture to electronics accessories, purses, footwear for the whole family, clothing, lingerie, toys, luggage, seasonal home decoration items, linens and more. The store is clean and mostly well organized. If you spend time going through the racks and shelves you find bargain prices. The luggage is really well-priced with a great selection and it has held up all over many flights. Very fun holiday themed leggings, sometimes in the pajama department but fine to use as regular leggings. Matching holiday pajamas are in sizes to outfit your family for a photo with very good prices. The Men's section has printed T-shirts and you never know what you will find from obscure sports teams to popular ones, very inexpensive. You don't get the feel of cheap bargain bin low quality here like many closeouts stores. Checkout is usually very well staffed and the line moves quickly. Returns are hassle-free if something doesn't fit and it looks like they have closed the fitting rooms recently, which is unfortunate and I hope it wasn't due to theft issues because that is very unfortunate and may result in more returns or not buying something you aren't sure of, when you can't...
Read moreNothing against Gabe’s the store or its products. We had a bad experienced at the cash register. One of the employe at the cash she was white elderly lady. She doubt on me and my family for shoplifting. So we were group of 4 me, my husband my daughter and my mom. My mom got herself a top, rest of us were not in the mood of shopping so we did not got anything, but we all accompanied my mom to the cash, this elderly white lady kept staring at us up and down thinking that we had more stuff in our hands but as if we are hiding from her. At the very end I was helping my mom to put back the remaining cash(mom paid cash) in her bookpocket this lady(cashier) came forward and started looking so closely of what we were doing, and she asked us “do you need help cashing something else” this clearly means, that she was asking us to declare any stuff we were trying to steal from the store. I mean seriously???? This cashier either is way too old to see and make out if someone is stealing or trying to be normal. Or this lady is a racist for doing this thing to us as we were not white, This lady is too much. We will never come back again to this Gabe’s to see this woman again. There are cameras someone please show her the cctv footage to make her understand that not everyone comes...
Read moreThe first turn off is the amount of dust and dirt. Like tumbleweeds of dust rolling around, including and especially in the dressing room. Second, it’s unbelievably poorly organized. Every rack. Where it says medium, there’s 5x and extra small. Even Goodwill is better organized (and cleaner) than this. A few things out of place because of careless customers is one thing. But the entire store is like that. Tables with shoes— just piled up and falling over. Some of them look like they’ve already been worn or have been dragged across their dirty floors and they’re still priced at 75$. The same items on different racks- have different prices. For the same, identical thing. Then, at the check out, there’s 35 people in line and only two cashiers. The rest of the check outs are open and unmanned. What inexperienced, unqualified manager is running this place (into the ground)?? I’ve been shopping Gabe’s since I was 14. How this NEW store is so dirty and disorganized and poorly run I do not understand. The zanesville location is loads better. I was sooo excited Gabe’s finally came to Columbus. I am deeply disappointed in my first experience here and I sincerely hope new management takes over and straightens...
