So, I believe that everyone has a yoga studio that's the right fit for them. Unfortunately this place was not the right place for me but I feel bad giving it no stars because I know other people like it. It's hot. Like HELL hot. The studio is very small and the wall you face is covered in mirrors (idk for some reason I would prefer no mirror). I think because it's so small, the air doesn't circulate well. About 65 minutes into class, during the cool down, I noticed my heartbeat was off the charts and I could NOT get it down. I did box breathing and got it down for a few minutes but as soon as I moved it shot back up. I wasn't close to the door and I was new to the studio and didn't feel really comfortable leaving. I get claustrophobic too which possibly was causing my heart rate to skyrocket because there are no windows or anything in the studio so it's hot and enclosed and for someone with claustrophobia issues, these things are problematic. It smelled like mildew which makes sense because when you leave the studio, there's this rack and a hose thing where everyone sprays off their mats. It's a little messy for me. I like my studios to be pretty pristine. And I've found everything I'm looking for over at Ignite, so it's not like I'm yoga deprived or anything. Before I went to this studio I contacted a friend who has spent a lot of time there and he said, oh you're going to Molly's class? Good luck! And I needed it 😂. It was incredibly difficult. I am a regular practitioner of yoga and this class, in that heat, was just wayyyy too much for me. But like I said, I have found a home at Ignite and there are lots of other yoga studios in the area to try out if you're looking to...
Read moreThis is hands down the HOTTEST hot yoga studio I have been to-I love that I am already sweating before the warm up is over. Classes are challenging, unique, and fun. I especially enjoy Erin's advanced vinyasa class and Mollie's sculpt class (yoga with weights and cardio-it's a burner!). The schedule is amazing! There are so many class times and a variety of classes available (I've heard even more will be added in the future). I have only experienced one time in which class was cancelled as Mollie came down with the flu and was not able to get anyone to sub on such short notice. Not only was it posted on the mindbody app that class was cancelled, but since I was registered for the class Mollie took it upon herself to send out a text message notification. The studio is very clean and prices are affordable. It is a welcoming, supportive environment where the fellow yogis are friendly and the teachers are helpful. There is a new speaker system which really pumps the jams for sculpt class. The new flooring is also a much appreciated upgrade. You can really tell that the new owner, Mollie, takes pride in improving the studio and creating a yoga community that is full of positivity, empowerment, and growth. I've tried other studios in the area however, in my opinion, this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend you give it a try...
Read moreI plan to renew my monthly class pass for sure!!!
I’m a local circus performer, and I was looking for advanced yoga classes in a heated setting and this fits the bill perfectly! I tried out other studios in the area and nothing compared to this studio! Every single teacher has a different style and it gets hot! This is exactly what I needed.
P.S- I seen another review that said it smells like mildew and that it’s not clean- This is not true at all! This studio is extremely clean and there are doors on each side of the room that are less than 10 steps away if it gets too hot, keep in mind all people smell different- you are not the only one in the class.
I will say if you are new to yoga or have not tried hot yoga. You should definitely reach out to the studio and let them suggest you a class. They’re not gonna steer you wrong! They want you to come back and the best way to know what will work for you is to get a little information prior to arrival for your...
