These are best tacos I've had in a long time...including Condado, Agave & Rye, and all the other Mexican fad-staurants around here.
And, I only give 5 Star reviews - check my profile. So, I always read an estsblishment's reviews before I write mine.
I went right to their 1 Star reviews, as always. I noticed some, but then I started reading them. I categorized them into two groups:
A. People I recognize from a certain local "foodie group" on Facebook (that will remain unmentioned because it's mostly full of awful, miserable people who just like to try to ruin people's business because they "forgot - no mushrooms!!!") My response to them is this, if you want a white girl named Sidney to take your Mexican order you can go to any one of the many Mexican fad-staurants around here to get your order taken. This place is authentic, maybe you should take 5 seconds to use Google Translate to make sure they understand your dire medical request.
B. The other group of 1 Star reviews, didn't even seem like they had even been to the place. For example, the one who says, "they'll steal your money and spit in your food!"
I told the manager, after complementing him and the chef, that I was leaving a review and I recognize some of these negative reviewers from a local "foodie group" I belong to; and, he explained the rest of the 1 Star reviews are people from a competing Mexican restaurant and/or disgruntled ex-employees.
This food is great. English is their second language. Give them some grace.
Note: I don't have a picture because the tacos didn't even last that long, and you should go now...the salsas are to...
Read moreUPDATE: JJ says a new menu is in the works. Did you know the Jalisco Guacamole is representative of how guacamole was originally made in Mexico? This dish is one of many on the menu that brings the history of Jalisco to Centerville. If you haven’t, take the time to ask the owner (JJ) about what on the menu comes from his family (the Beria is his sisters recipe) and Guadalajara.
Added a picture of the Chicken Soup my wife had today. I don’t think you could fit another ingredient into that bowl! When it’s cold his soup hits the right notes.
UPDATE: Owner shops daily for ingredients and items like chorizo are made in house. FRESHEST ingredients in the Dayton area despite inaccurate reviews. Go see for yourself.
Had a late lunch today. For starters, four excellent, fresh made salsas. Clockwise from the upper left are the habanero salsa, the medium red salsa, the serrano salsa, and the mixed chilies salsa. When you visit, ask for them by name. Caution, the serrano and mixed chilies are hotter than most! Lunch was their fajitas Jalisco flaming with steak, chorizo, and fresh pineapple. Place was about 50% full with faces we’ve not seen in before. Service was excellent and everyone seemed quite happy. This is not your typical OhioMexican restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection of items from Jalisco state and the blend of spices and protein/vegetables/fruits always hits the spot for us. Their margaritas and mixed drinks complement the menu offerings as well. All in all, this is the best Mexican restaurant Outside of Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Texas that I’ve eaten in. Highly...

The restaurant's ambiance was a delightful fusion of traditional and contemporary Mexican decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home.
Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff who were not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to explain the dishes, and offer recommendations.
The menu at Mi Lindo Jalisco is a culinary journey through Mexico. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors, a testament to the chef's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The highlight of my meal was the Street Tacos, a dish that was both visually stunning and incredibly delicious.
No Mexican meal would be complete without a refreshing margarita, and Mi Lindo Jalisco did not disappoint. Their margaritas were the perfect blend of sweet and sour, and the tequila was smooth and high-quality.
The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, and the service was efficient. our food arrived promptly and our drinks were never empty.
In conclusion, Mi Lindo Jalisco offers a truly authentic Mexican dining experience. The combination of the warm atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food makes it a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of Mexico.
