Been a member for a few weeks and love their classes. Their format is a unique blend, high energy and fun spin class, challenging and energetic strength and then wind down with yoga.
I'm an avid cyclist, I find their Spin portion fun. I like competing with myself and trying to raise my Sweet Spot. The bikes are excellent and the instructors are fun and motivating.
For me the strength portion is tough. Good combination of strength with some cardio mixed in. Constant movement, fast pace. Heart rate stays elevated. They have a wide variety of equipment and we used it all. After 15 sessions I haven't repeated a workout yet.
Yoga is completely new to me, but something I knew I needed. It's been slow trying to learn all the terminology but I can tell it's helping. I'm doing SPENGA sessions M-F mornings and even a couple evenings with my wife. I give the yoga sessions credit for keeping me relaxed and not sore.... or maybe I'm just not werking hard enough???
Follow up 12/10/2020 - I've been a member for a year (other than COVID shutdown). My 'sweet spot' on the bike has climbed and kept me challenged. I have gotten stronger and more fit. It’s easy to book and track your classes with their app. The benefits you gain from the workouts are incredible and life changing. From stress relief and mindfulness to keeping your heart, lungs and body toned. You gain a sense of accomplishment and belonging to a group of people that have a common goal to improving their overall health.
The cardio phase is challenging with excellent, motivating, quality instruction. This phase comes with feedback as to how well you’re doing in the 4 target zones during the session.
The HITT strength training is invaluable with professional, knowledgeable and inspiring instructors.
Then comes the third phase, Yoga, which is also instructor lead and icing on the cake for relieving soreness, increasing flexibility and improving your body’s overall health.
What’s nice is you can set your own pace during all three phases of the workout and still accomplish your goals.

You’re assigned a bike at the beginning when you check in (it’s on a monitor up front above the desk). This is so you can be given your own “sweet spot” parameters so the spinning portion is still individualized to challenge you as you get better. Strength was a series of HIIT with weights. Yoga was a strength, stretch, relaxation flow and you didn’t need to bring your own yoga mat but no shoes were allowed in the yoga area.
Dani was a wonderful coach and I really felt like I got a great workout from her encouragement and direction! According to my Fitbit I burned 568 calories with 60% in the fat burning zone. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for those who would quit because the person next to you is doing “better”. This style of workout can be very intense for those who do it intensely.
