I'm a public health worker had to pick a place to recieve the Moderna Vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine), Bread for the City was secure, friendly, and professional. Having people who worked there that looked like me meant a lot. And they did everything possible to keep me comfortable. I go back there to get my second dose. Highly recommend.

I began coming here about a year ago just to get a quick TB test at the last minute, but I loved it so much that I decided to make it my permanent doctors. I just came back today for a check up and both times the longest I've been in the waiting room was about 10-15 mins. The staff was super nice, the place was clean, and I love the patient portal so I can view my results. My appointment was at 9:30, I arrived around 9:20, and after talking to the doctor, getting a pap smear, flu shot, and blood tests to test for STD's, I was out before 10 pm. Also before even getting home my mother told me that the pharmacy called to let me know that my prescription was ready. I would definitely recommend this place! I have only visited the doctor's part so I can really speak on the other businesses that are at...

Bread for the City at 1525 7th Street NW DC, Two of the women that help the handicap folks were very rude, with street mentality attitudes, the young lady behind the counter and the older woman was totally disrespectful, after I left my cancer treatment appointment, I went to Bread for the City to get a $50 gift card towards my Thanksgiving dinner, never expected to get treated with such disrespect here I am on a handicap motorized scooter yelled at by the young lady behind the counter and the frozen turkey tossed at me by the older woman who was giving out the turkey's which was very heavy, I will be filing a complaint because I had no idea how the program was set up, I just came to pickup one $50 gift card, everything else was blown out...

The place is very very well run. The staff makes all welcome. They have helped me to no ends.Very response to all needs and great with all customer. I can not say enough good things about this place. They deal with a very very difficult customer base. And we are blessed to have these people work with us.iam a great succes story. Not only did they get me out of the shelter buy getting me a impossible I'D. Were as I could get a good Job so I could get a apartment. With out BREAD FOR THE CITY. I would still be at the shelter at 801 martin luther king Jr ave What can I say to a great bunch of folks that really Care. Sincerely hope the New Year brings you much happiness and all the best...
