Shiloh Baptist Church — Local services in Washington

As a child of the LORD of Host, Please forgive any errors in my writing skills or the lack of: I write this in hopes that somehow the members and staff alike will look within and change their hearts. I walked into the building joined to the church asking about any events (Saturday Morning - Today 2/24/2018) at the front desk. I was told by a kind woman at the desk that there were no events - I expressed to her that I was homeless (due to domestic violence) and the shelter requires women to leave out all day and asked if she knew of any place safe in walking distance that i could go and sit and be out of harm's way she didn't have any information regarding my question, I knew I had a long walk to wait out the time to return and expressed that to her. She allowed me to sit before I journey on - That is why I gave the 3 stars for in this review for showing me the LOVE of God in such a way. People were coming in and there is a glass wall that separated her desk and me sitting near the door - I took out my laptop and read my bible Psalm 91 and my prayer book via my laptop. A maintenance man began taking orders for food to be delivered I was praying he or someone offered me something to eat as I was hungry- soon the food was delivered and before that and after that I endured the laughter of people walking back and forth looking at me laughing, I prayed LORD let them see you in me and your angels all around me. One person walked by me to exit the building the smell of his hot dog hit my nose like a steak dinner! My hunger intensified. I stop reading and put my laptop up and asked where they got the hot dogs - in my mind and heart I was thinking and praying for the favor of God - to go before me (wherever) they got the hot dogs I would walk there and ask for one (I had no money to buy one) by and with faith, I was told it wasn't in walking distance and I could go to a nearby Korean fast food place to get a hot dog - I was given walking directions by the maintenance man and I turned back and asked the woman from Landover Md who worked the front desk and had mercy on me to pray for favor with me I'm going to ask for something to eat from the store as she heard the conversation the man and I had, then I left the building I didn't get food to eat from that carry out, but I did feed on the WORD OF GOD BEFORE LEAVING SHILOH JUST ME AND GOD. I pray that Matthew 25:40 will come to heart and mind to all at this Church. As I was a stranger in your midst. That experience does not encourage me to come back for Sunday service which I can only pray and hope that God's presence and anointing is there and that the hearts of people therein do not wax cold nor grow weary in doing good - please don't count out the least of them among you. UPDATE: For the third time in two years the vacant buildings owned by Shiloh have caught fire and put the safety of the neighborhood at risk. How much longer until the city comes and knocks these buildings down? What a disgrace.
