City Mission Thrift Store — Local services in Washington

My house burnt an it was cold out. Had only a T-shirt on and called them a they said they couldn’t give me anything. An they say they there to help people. They also take new dollar tree stuff an sell it at a higher price. That’s just greedy. Edit: Since the new takeover, this place is no longer a "Thrift" store with the prices they have. Ridiculous!!!! Their prices are more than new items at a store. They even got rid of the discounts they offered throughout the week. I knew this all would happen when a corporation took over. Have to line their pockets. Very very disappointed with prices! I made a quick trip last month looking for black pants for a funeral. Didn't find any which was ok,no biggie. What I did find was INSANE prices! And I guess they also discontinued the color of the week? With these prices you're better off going to TJ maxx,Marshall's, Ross,Platos Closet ect. I used to also donate A Lot here. Never ever again!
