Visiting D.C. for the first time and wanted to see some of the nice stores in the area. My girlfriend and I decided to stop into this Dior store because it looked very beautiful and i’ve spent hundreds of dollars online buying Dior products. Although the minute I walked in I was followed around by a shorter older asian woman selling purses by the front of the store. She followed me and my partner up the stairs and watched us the entire time when neither of us even had bags or even touched a single thing then proceeded to kick us out and she acted very entitled and had a bit of a superiority complex. Also for context we weren’t even in the store longer than 5 minutes for this whole encounter. Her reasoning for kicking us out of the whole store was because we were looking into the dressing room and she told us we weren’t allowed to be in there (which we listened and respectfully complied) we truly believed it was another extension to the store since there were no signs stating it was a dressing room. So just a warning to anyone if you look different, poor, don’t dress in all name brand clothing, and just don’t look wealthy enough for her don’t even try to enter this store because that lady will profile you, harass you, and follow you the entire time ruining your whole experience. I was not aware that this store doesn’t allow certain people in based on how they dress, look, or overall just don’t meet rich people standards. P.S. since she assumed we were going to steal I don’t know who would steal from a store with 3-4 bodyguards and most likely 85 cameras and surveillance systems… If you are going to profile people maybe get better at it because i’m not that stupid to do something like that and would like to make it clear never stolen in my whole life even though I know she believes i would because i’m less...
Read moremy girl friends and i walked in the store with items in mind that we were absolutely gonna buy. but we were greeted with an absolute worst attitude ever from a male sale associate. as if he was gatekeeping everything we wanted to look at. one of my girl friend asked him about a bag, she even showed him the picture from dior official website, we got nothing but a cold and unprofessional response from him “i have never seen this bag before, and we don’t have it” he didn’t even bother checking the inventory or show how to find this bag. i was going to get the black saddle bag, but if this man works on commission, then i’m not going to and didn’t give him any from my purchase. please work and trained your sale associates better, don’t show any discrimination in their service. my girl friends and i can see it very clearly from how they treated customers based on their outer appearance. this is not the first time we stopped by this boutique...
Read moreThe male associate with bigger build and mustache and white T-shirt was extremely judgemental and rude to our group. He would follow us very closely every step of the way and stared at us throughout the whole time as if we wanted to steal anything?? Being watched made us feel so uncomfortable (it’s very different from when a sales associate is following to take care of the customer. This guy was outwardly judgemental and wanted us to leave). After 3 mins in the store he asked if we wanted anything, and I said we were just looking around, so he said “Yeah well thanks for shopping with us” (??). We weren’t even done looking at the items yet, and being told that made us not want to buy the bags any more. Please train your associate better and not to judge people based on how they look. I have seen several reviews with the same experience here so I’m sure this is not my own personal issue. Working in a luxury store doesnt make you better...
