A lot of the 1-star reviews here are not deserved. The service I got was above and beyond, and I felt welcomed right away, even though I was dressed like I had no intention to buy. I really wish I caught the names of the two ladies working on May 7th, 2024.
Gary Wu gave a 1-star review. Guess what? Materials for repair on the jackets are in short supply. If you want something fixed or replaced as soon as you ask, I’m sure Walmart would be more than happy for your business. And on that note, if you're upset your son has outgrown his $2,000+ dollar jacket, then don’t buy him such a nice one. I’m not sure what to tell you. If you have money to do that and you can’t buy another one, you need to manage your finances better. Stop being a crybaby and go to a thrift store.
Michael Hodges gave a 1-star review for location, for what reason I’m not sure. Why? It's in a nice area with lots of shops and plenty of parking garages around. Like seriously man, you're in DC, what do you expect? A vast amount of lots with open parking spaces for free? I mean, get a grip on yourself, my dude. And to add to that, the garages are like $15 for an hour, $25 for the day. If that’s your reason for taking the time out of your day to leave a 1-star review, spending $15, I would absolutely love to have you explain your thought process on buying designer items. If $15 and a 5-minute walk is what ruined your day, I bet you didn’t buy anything either. But hey! With the money you didn’t spend there and the $15 saved, you can probably get a nice 'I
Read moreWish I could give this store a ZERO Star Rating!!! We were all very excited to visit the store - as we planned on purchasing jackets. The Manager finally opened the door after we stood there for 15 seconds. Sales person was too busy on the phone. First of all -- I have shopped at many high end retail stores and have never left any of those stores empty handed or upset!!! After looking through the store, I found the jacket that I liked and so did my husband. We were going to purchase both jackets. Disappointingly, the jacket I liked did not have my size, so they had to order it. I was fine with that -- ordering and waiting, even though I was hoping for the both of us to walk out with jackets. THEN .... when the sales person was about to order my jacket -- I noticed the price difference from the jacket that was on the floor compared with the on-line jacket. First of all the sales person tried to hid that fact from me and later when I confronted her and the manager with it -- they said its a mistake in the tag. I said what mistake -- the tag clearly states $2480 here. It is not my problem or issue that you and the Manager failed to do your job and update the pricing on the tags. I told them according to law and as a common courtesy they need to honor the pricing that is displayed in the store. They became short and rude and said sorry we can't. I told them they just lost out on TWO sales which would be over $5,000. I thought Moncler prided themselves on customer service...dissappointing.
Per CA Business & Professions Code Section 12024. 2. (a) It is unlawful for any person, at the time of sale of a commodity, to do any of the following: (1) Charge an amount greater than the price, or to compute an amount greater than a true extension of a price per unit, that is then advertised, POSTED, MARKED, DISPLAYED or QUOTED for...

My son accidentally scratched his Moncler jacket and we dropped it off at the DC store for repair. The sales lady told us repairs took a long time, up to 4-6 weeks. Now it's been 3 months, we still have not gotten the jacket back. There is no update, no way to inquire what's going on, and no way to expedite it. The DC store's phone number never works. Central customer service number doesn't know anything. I had to drive a hour to the store to find out what's going on. Other than "still waiting for repair," there is no information available. Now we not only went through a winter without the jacket, my son is growing out of its size!
The ladies in the store were very nice and I know this is not their fault at all. But you would think for the price Moncler charges there would be a half decent customer service. If Moncler is trying to destroy its brand and make sure customers don't come back, they are doing a great job!
Follow-up: after driving to the store twice (1.5hr drive), I finally was lucky enough to talk to Ryma at the Moncler DC store. She was very kind and sympathetic for my experience. She gave me her personal phone number, and promised she would follow up with me on the repair. She found out the jacket was never sent out for repair and had been sitting in the DC store all this time. Ryma immediately sent it out and repair came back quickly. Now 10 months after dropping my jacket for repair, I finally got it back....
