I found this restaurant to bring my boyfriend to before the Caps game. I saw they had a happy hour before the game so, I suggested it to him & we made a reservation at the time the happy hour started.
We got seated, had our order taken somewhat quickly. We ordered the nachos and wings since they were apart of happy hour, then he got a soda. We got our food fairly quickly by another worker and it was actually delicious. But, his drink never came until we hunted our server down. We were almost done with our food, so that means we waited for over 20 minutes for a soda.
We probably only got checked on 1-2x for the hour we were there as we watched him check on the other tables. It was hard to flag anyone down since they seem to be short-staffed and the live music was so loud.
We finally flagged our server down again to get a check. I saw the total was about $15-20 more than expected. So, I asked why? He explained to us that we ordered the regular portion nachos and wings. However, there is no indication there is a difference on the promo poster and the regular menu. He said we should’ve asked about it, but he never asked us which one we wanted or said there was a difference. But, he had no problem asking if we wanted the additional chicken or pork on top, of course.
Then, he showed us that he charged us for the Coke we got at the end of our meal that he never offered to refill and we had to ask for.
Then, he asked us to leave a review and use his name since I guess he thought we had stellar service, so here the review is Mo. I hate leaving bad reviews, but for the price this service was maybe the worst I’ve had. I don’t completely blame the server since they were short-staffed and the promotional posters need to be more specific about happy hour, but ultimately the service should’ve...
Read moreThe bartenders and food was so good! I had one of their beers on tap (Air and Space) and it was fantastic! The crab dip was also fabulous!
But let me tell you. The hostess… absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I came in and asked if I could sit in the bar area, and she said, “that isn’t what is next on my list. I need to put you at a booth.”
There were literally at MINIMUM 5 high top tables at the bar open, so it made no sense. When she brought me and my boyfriend to the table she wanted us to sit at, it was a table sitting so close to another family it was crazy that it was even the first table she wanted us to sit at. I told her I am absolutely not sitting there as it is way too close to the other family, and said I want to sit at a high top that was right next to the table she wanted me at.
The hostess rolled her eyes at me, and went to the bartender and was like, “she wants to sit here. So she is your problem.” And the bartenders were very happy to service me.
I love coming here for the bartenders and the food, but the hostess with the horrible attitude has got to go.
She is rude, and clearly has no customer service experience. She also kept clicking her teeth while talking to me, which is just beyond rude when a hostess should truly be one of the kindest people in the restaurant. Love the girls working the bar. Couldn’t say anything more other than they are super relatable and happy to help in any...
Read moreWhere do I begin form the entry to the exit!!! No welcoming hospitality!! The waiter Bow had the audacity to tell me and friend that he was off when all we wanted was a glass of wine! I must say the manager Michael is very pleasant, and a great listener.
Let’s move on to the bartender A.J. Who is very combative, as well rude with a hostile attitude! She was so dismissive and unpleasant when I spoke I not she began to say how she would have me removed perform the business! I questioned her character, Ora, and abrasive gestures, and she was livid!! I can say the bands was awesome Push Play to be exact! The other kind hostess was Aniyah after speaking with her she was so compassionate! It’s unfortunate that places like this that offer good social settings lack in customer...
