On Saturday, October 16th I received the worst customer service from a bartender name Marquise. He is extremely disrespectful, rude, belligerent and combative. I asked him to change the channels for the college football games respectfully. He responded to me: "I am not worried about that right now, I am worried about my money." I was taken back from that comment. When someone else asked him the same request, he obliged. A few mins later, I asked him for a cup of water. He adamantly refused to give me water. He mentioned to me that "I am not spending no money at the bar so I can't have water." I was beyond confused at this point. I told him: "I plan on being here all day long. I am going to spend money. i SPEND MONEY THERE EVERY DAY WHEN I COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT." The frustrating part about this is that he knows that I am a regular customer. When he left for a hot second, I asked another employee for water and he obliged. When Marquise returned and saw my cup of water, he chastised the new employee for giving it to me. I asked Marquise: "What seems to be the problem? I can't get no water?' He proceeded to come to my area and grabbed my cup and dump the water out. At this point, I was livid because I couldn't believe he did what he did. I was annoyed, upset and disrespected!!!!! At this location, where I spend money on a daily basis, he treated me as if I am nothing. Marquise and I got into an heated argument and words were exchanged. He denied me service and made a scene. I was embarrassed and disrespected in a way that I wanted to do something to him but I controlled myself because I have a lot to lose. I proceeded to speak to Mr. Thomas, the manager about the matter. He informed me that he will take care of this matter. I just wanted to make clear that this man Marquise has no business working there because he has no professional skills. He is so unprofessional, rude, nasty, disgusting and disrespectful. All of these traits are not conducive in a customer service oriented establishment. The sad part about this is that he had many issues with other people about the same issue. If this is the case, why is management allowing him to work there still? It doesn't make sense. I really hope management will take care of this matter because you do not treat a great consumer like myself in...
Read moreIf you're planning on coming to this place and want to actually be served, make sure to sit at the bar. A QR code is used to place your order, and to pay your bill. You will be sat, and you won't see any staff until your food/drinks are brought to your table. We ordered 2 drinks and a plate of appetizers, and the entire process took an hour and a half. There is communcation errors from the point the order is recieved and put together, and the waiters actually being notified that the order is ready to be served. I watched the bartender make my drink and place it on the counter, 15 minutes later the waiter walked up and grabbed the drink off the counter and brought it over. Granted, our drinks were waived due to the poor service. ALSO, this QR code service does not allow you to tip below 20% of your bill, which seems a bit wrong in my eyes. It's a good idea on paper, but if you're not checking on the QR code service app it ends up doing more harm than good. Kitchen staff also get to have alchoholic beverages on their breaks, which I thought was pretty interesting. Sit at the bar and you'll be served normally. Sit at the tables if you have a few hours to kill and you enjoy minimal human services. GET RID OF THE...
Read moreThe Gentleman at the betting line did good job. But the rest of the place acted like they did not want you there. I got my tickets and simply wanted to organize my things for a minute on a tall table in the middle of the room near stairs. But one second after I put things on the table was I told that section closed for food later. The place was completely empty and the position of the table gave no clue it was part of the one downstairs bar. The person then me I could go upstairs if I wanted. I went up saw alot of chairs and spaces to sit. I sat down to watch my game when a security guard told me I could only sit at the bar. Were it was packed. So 80% of the place is closed off and you are packed with a bar with tiny screens. At least my game was and the big screen with my game is now offimits. On top of that the guard said these areas were for March madness. I was about to inform him all conference tournaments are apart of March madness but it would of done me no good. It has potential but Remer you can't sit on the ragged seats and everyone acts like they hate their jobs which really brings the place down. Much nicer books than this..by far. Pass on it if you...
