The food was wonderful and the service was great but imposing a mandatory tip on any meal is wrong on these points. First, whether to tip and how much is MY domain and preview NOT YOURS. I don’t tell you what to pay your servers (what do you pay them? The legal minimum?). How dare you have the hutzpah to tell me what to tip. That’s MY money and MY prerogative Not Yours. Keep your hands out of my wallet. Digging into your own pocket if you feel like your custom, your servers are not getting paid enough. Second, I am not a deadbeat or reprobate but your mandatory policy screams that is how you see each of us. Don’t bother telling me you don’t intend to send that message, the policy’s existence does that by existing. Third, you screwed the servers because I would have tipped more but was insulted by the policy and made it a point to apologize for only tipping your rate. If you really want to pass your server compensation on to the customers and are too cheap to take care of that yourself, then balk it onto the price and declare a no tipping policy. STOP INSULTING AND INSINUATING YOUR CLIENTELE...
Read moreWe are locals that stopped by for winter restaurant week. We were very pleased as they had one of the best preset menus and are open 3 hours after most other restaurants. Great food, amazing service, lovely atmosphere (I'm personally not info the modern feminist vibe, but appreciated the unique art, comfortable chairs, and calm lighting nonetheless, the esthetic was chill and intimate in the lounge area– (lots of instances like RGB okay, cool, but where's Sandra Day O'Connor? Fun idea, but it could have been more creatively executed). Matthew and Dinesh provided absolutely stellar service! We almost didn't stop by due to the restaurant being in a hotel and the low-ish rating, but honestly was so beyond impressed by the quality of service and again, the great prices compared to other similar options within this area. Plus, daily happy hour. There are so many great offers here and reasons to come out. We look forward to taking a staycation here with friends this summer to enjoy the roof and pool. Thanks for making our little night out to celebrate our anniversary, so extra special!...

He didn't even say anything to us when he brought some water to our table. Then he was practically yelling at my friend for asking what Shock Top tastes like because apparently he has never carried Shock Top and he has no idea where we got the idea he has Shock Top..... but Shock Top is literally listed on their very short beer menu, and when we told him that he didn't even apologize or say anything, just stared at us. My other friend asked about what a couple of their cocktails were like, and he goes "what do you mean, what are they like?" Then after ordering he asks us all for IDs, which is all good, but even doing that was like a tense and hostile energy. He was just rude all night. Not interested in...
