
A befitting location that really a representation of the stunning Thomas Circle in Washington D.C. I was in awe of the magnificent ambience of this church and even more blown away by the impressive interior! When I was here the church just finished service and I was able to enter and explore, amongst other visitors. This neoclassical building from the outside betrays the enormous interior. It reminded me of a church in England. Most notable is the stained glass windows depicting James Garfield and Lyndon Johnson, amazing! Pipe organ that sounds beautifully along with a grand piano. The issues that I encountered going to this church for a wedding ceremony. parking is a hassle I have to park about four blocks away and use a meter. Number two the sound quality of their audio system is echoey and there was no mic on the bride or the groom so we couldn't hear the vows at all. otherwise a beautiful church and the stairs to to the church outside were grand but it could be an issue for older or handicapped people, there is an elevator...
