Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Huckberry store, following a recommendation from my girlfriend, who is a manager at a nearby establishment on Wisconsin Ave in Georgetown. We decided to explore the store during her break, as she had spoken highly of its recent opening, the inclusion of a bar, and the positive relationship she had established with the new store manager.
Upon entering the store, my girlfriend introduced herself to a sales associate at the main bar/cash wrap area. Unfortunately, the associate's response was rather indifferent, offering only a brief acknowledgment before returning to her phone. We proceeded further into the store, where my girlfriend attempted to explain the layout; however, we experienced a lack of engagement from the staff throughout our visit.
Additionally, while observing another associate in the back who was busy assisting a customer, he offered a cursory welcome without making eye contact. He went ahead and continued his efforts without asking if we needed assistance.
I found the store's aesthetic appealing, particularly as a bourbon enthusiast drawn to the clothing styles. However, my unfamiliarity with the products, coupled with the overall lack of customer engagement, left me disappointed. As a result, I do not foresee returning to the store, as the experience did not meet my...
Read moreI went to Huckberry twice during our vacation. The 1st time by myself on 8/27/25 and the experience was definitely 5 star. I was greeted and made to feel welcome (recon mission to see if worth coming back). So why 3 stars. I went back with my husband (excited to show him store) on Labor Day around noon. Store wasn’t too busy. Was never greeted, had to flag the girl down for help which is not that big of a deal and if that was just all I would have given more stars. We were looking at some boots. She grabbed them put them on the table and just left and didn’t come back until we called her over again. No smile, no customer service. When we are wanting to buy $400 boots (we also were looking at the trucker Jacket $300) some customer interaction would be nice. We left with neither but truthfully could have been persuaded to buy at least 1 now and the other later (luggage space issues) or both and had them shipped. We were ready to buy but at the same time passively shopping so there was no urgency. I just wanted to share this with management since I heard you are newly opened. It is a great store with awesome products and worth the visit. We have been fans of the website for a long time and it was great to see/feel products irl. I just hope they can have more consistent customer service especially at this...
Read moreA Georgetown Gem – Exceptional Service and Atmosphere I can't say enough good things about the Huckberry store in Georgetown. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the thoughtfully curated space and welcoming atmosphere. Riley absolutely made my visit – they handled a return I needed to process with such ease and professionalism that what's usually a hassle became genuinely pleasant. It's rare to encounter someone who combines efficiency with authentic friendliness, but Riley nailed it. The entire staff was approachable and knowledgeable without being pushy. Beyond the excellent service, the store itself is beautifully appointed. The vinyl collection playing through their McIntosh sound system creates the perfect shopping vibe – it's clear they've put real thought into every detail of the experience. Whether you're looking for quality gear or just want to browse in a well-designed space with top-notch service, this is absolutely worth a visit. Huckberry Georgetown has set...
