C&O Canal Lock 3 — Attraction in Washington

I do not recommend the Georgetown Heritage canal tour. It is rather boring. It costs $20 + online fees for adults. It lasts an hour and it is very bland. Just walk the canal path yourself. I’m glad I tried this out myself before taking my family/visitors to this. The tour guides were nice (hence the two stars), and they were so hot in their colonial outfits in this 90 degree humidity. Took the canal boat tour. Cute little ride and the lock demonstration was really great, but I regret just not walking along the trail myself. The starting point is scenic and cute, but the boat just slowly trolls down the old canal along the back end of renovated offices, overgrowth, and graffiti. There isn’t much to look at.
