TL:DR — don’t come here unless you want to be treated like you’re a criminal.
I’ve been a loyal Kohl’s customer for over seven years, but after today, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Unlike other locations, this store refused to let me try on clothes before purchasing, which was frustrating enough. But what really shocked me was how I was treated throughout my shopping experience.
From the moment I picked up items, employees hovered over me like I was a shoplifter. They refused to let me keep my cart, withheld my items until they decided I was ‘ready to buy,’ and then forced me to purchase everything at the front, barely allowing me to change my mind. I spent over $100, and yet I was treated like a problem instead of a paying customer.
I can only assume I was singled out due to my tattoos, piercings, and large purse—which is unacceptable. I have never stolen from Kohl’s, and I’ve been a regular shopper here for years. No one deserves to be followed, controlled, and humiliated while simply trying to shop.
If you enjoy being treated like a criminal for simply existing, this is the store for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere—to a store that actually respects...
Read moreWent today to pickup an order for my wife. She had recieved a message order ready for self pickup. I took the time to drive over to get the order just to find out they didn't have it. No store clerk has to verify what a person grabs off these shelves. Ultimately anyone could act like they have an order and just walk off with stuff. I approached the manager Don about this and he stated it is no different than someone stealing off the shelves. However I disagree your the customer that paid. You waste your time, money, and gas. Just to have item you purchased be treated with complete...
Read moreI luv Kohls however whenever I’m in this store you will see from time to time younger people walking a dog inside the store, 98% of the time the dog is just a pet. The pet isn’t wearing a “service animal” vest, many people are allergic to pet dander and or down right afraid of dogs. Why should a paying customer have to potentially encounter something that is preventable? But it’s mostly these under 30 year old adults that were never taught to respect others and that it’s not always just about themselves. The thing that these stores don’t think about is that if someone’s pet causes harm to a customer the pets owner and the store is responsible for any potential injuries which will most likely lead to a couple...
