The PAN Foundation has helped pay for my Multiple Sclerosis injection medication several times. I am at the medicare age and unfortunately even though I have part D assistance for medication it only covers a tiny fraction of the thousands this drug costs. I could never have afforded it if PAN had not approved grants which left me with zero copays. I just received an email today that my balance left from the grant is very low so I asked to be put on the list to be notified when funds open again for my disease. In the past I just had to call to renew when funds ran out and PAN would automatically meet my needs. This is not the case this time possibly more people with MS are being helped with grants or funding is low. In any case I am forever grateful for the help I have received.

October 2022 after my annual mammogram, i was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am 75, have not been in a hospital for 50 years & I am not on any prescriptions. My cancer treatment journey began. My income had decreased as on July 2022 my husband of 55 years unexpectedly passed away, I was going thru surgery, 3 months of chemo, plus 1 month of radiation. The chemo bills were growing. This is when PAN approved financial medical assistance. PAN helped to reduce my days of financial stress. The representative of PAN also worked with me to keep me in a positive mental state. PAN cares & stepped up to do everything possible for me. I successfully completed my chemo & radiation. I am currently on Hormone therapy. God's Got This. I am so thankful for PAN assistance. I am Blessed.

I am a metastatic breast cancer patient living on social security only. A breast cancer immunotherapy drug is keeping me stable and living! The co-pays on this drug are very high.. Almost 2000 a month. Without the assistance from PAN I could not have the drug and would probably go out of remission and no longer be stable. PAN is a lifesaver to me.

I have been asked to share my story about PAN. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer several years ago and felt I needed a more aggressive treatment. A doctor mentioned Orgovyx and I decided to try it. At first the drug cost me $30 a month but I was told by the pharmacy that when PAN met to vote I would probably get full coverage. I waited and two months later I was called and told my $60 in payments would be returned because the foundation was picking up the total costs to me. The drug itself did exactly what it was supposed to do and lowered my PSA from about 3 to .64. I had been warned there were some problems I might have, and I did find I had frequent hot flashes. Mostly after meals I would suddenly feel very warm and uncomfortable. I also found very minor changes in my toilet habits, hardly worth talking about, and often a sore back. I don't think the drug caused the back pain, but as an old medic I always look to see what was different and I did notice the pain was more prevalent, after the drug, but I also took a fall so that was a wash. I tried to find out how long I would be on the medicine and what the final results would be, but that was more difficult. I heard sometimes 11 months, sometimes longer. Would I be cured, probably not, what we seemed to be doing was just slowing the growth of the cancer. After six months as the hot flashes got a tiny bit worse and for the first time I noticed some dampness, the beginning of sweat. I started to debate continuing the use of the drug. Because I did not see any cure at the end of treatment I did so. The drug did its job, but the flashes just convinced me to quit. The Pan Foundation did exactly what it said it would do and I received no bills for the drug. I still don't know if I was right or wrong, but since I never had any pain from the cancer, I just thought I would go back to...

I was diagnosed with CLL about eight years ago and chose the option of a single pill, Imbruvica, vs the route of infusions and chemo treatments. Until about three years ago my coverage for this very expensive daily pill was covered by my wife's insurance. I retired in 2015. Once she retired in 2021 my specialty pharmacy put me in touch with PAN Foundation and helped me secure a grant to cover beyond what Plan D did. Like all plans things have to renew at the beginning of the year. 2022 was a close year but I had another Foundation to help with the costs. In the beginning of 2023 it looked like all no Foundations had opened to help with this drug. I had to face the first two months of 2023 with out of pocket coverage, pretty much eating most of Social Security monthly stipend. HOWEVER, PAN Foundation kept sending me emails about possible help. My pharmacy kept checking for me and nothing opened. I reached out to PAN in early 2023, got on their waiting list and miraculously they opened funding for my drug within a few days. After supplying some minor financial information I was approved and given a grant to cover the rest of 2023. I passed this along to my pharmacy and now I don't pay anything! PAN Foundation saved me twice from what's an almost $30,000/month cost. Thank you PAN Foundation for helping me and...
