Qi Kratom CBD Tea — Local services in Washington

Update 5/4/20: two of the three teas I bought turned out to be moldy, or different types of tea entirely. Can't recommend the pearl jasmine tea or lapsang souchong. Still haven't gotten around to the Lion's Mane but let's just say I am not confident. I will say, the candies were excellent and the kava I bought there was fine. The CBD lollipops were also excellent. But selling moldy tea (it was sealed until today) and selling lapsang souchong that very obviously wasn't smoked is not... I dunno. Not good, anyway. Still love the concept of the store and it has its upsides, but this was really disappointing. (Everything after this update is the original review.)

Whoa—I've gotta say, this may be the coolest shop I've ever seen, and I don't think I'm equipped to express how impressed I was with Qi (pronounced like "chee", for the uninitiated).

Before anything else, a shout-out to the staff: both of the employees who helped me knew the products thoroughly; what they didn't know, they checked in the store's handy reference sheets. They were both very kind and helpful—extraordinary service!

Their selection of products is far more extensive than the name implies. Qi carries kratom, CBD products of just about every kind imaginable, teas (even those you don't often find, like Lapsang Souchong and Pu'erh; also herbal teas), various mushrooms (chaga, lion's mane, cordyceps, reishi, and more I don't remember), various house-made candies containing extracts, and a rather diverse selection of extracts, tinctures, and herb capsules. I am sure there are products I forgot to include.

The atmosphere is of particular note: upon entrance, one is allured by the spicy-sweet smell of incense. Along the back wall, neatly-organized shelves are seen to display teacups and pots along with various other tea paraphernalia, myriad herbal teas and preparations in jars (simple but elegant nonetheless), pre-packaged bags of kratom and kava, and extracts of at least kratom, maybe kava too—all tidy and pleasing to see.

To the left (when you walk in), there is a selection of loose-leaf and prepacked tea—again, impressive—laid out gracefully on a table. A comfy-looking couch occupies the nook on the opposite side of the door, flooded with natural light, which seems fitting because there is a full bookshelf beside the couch. There may have been other seats and a table, I don't recall.

What more can I say, besides to recommend dropping by this lovely little herb emporium? The only thing you may find disappointing is the price of the kratom; it is much cheaper to buy kratom online. I didn't buy any today, but I get the impression that one wouldn't be disappointed in doing so, as they appear to care about the quality of their products. One day I'll test theirs out—who knows, I might be further impressed!

Not sure what the prior guy was talking about, I've been using kratom for 7 years to treat a neck injury I suffered in the Army, and have tried many brands and types. I dropped in on Qi Kratom unexpectedly on Saturday to supplement my normal supply.

First, this is not a "head shop" with a few canisters of kratom under the counter, and a representative who can barely pronounce the different types. This is a VERY clean, open, warm, and comfortable setting, and not an ounce of judgment or contempt from the staff. In fact, without even considering the fact I was greeted by a beautiful and bright smiling face, I was able to discuss what would be the best strain to use. I was actually speaking with knowledgeable, well studied professional who didn't push anything on me or pressure me into anything to make a profit.

The powder I purchased was absolutely what I needed and expected, and was sold at a VERY reasonable price. Quality was spot on and precisely the speed and strength I was promised.

This shop is a credit to the kratom community, and should be viewed as a model for how a kratom retailer is run. Don't be surprised if you see the Qi brand evolving into a franchise company and leader in the kratom community in the...

This place is legit, it's awesome to be in an era where shops like this exist.. Wide variety of products and a staff willing to share some knowledge about them.. The kratom quality seems to be a little inconsistent as of recent (or maybe my tolerance is to blame) but otherwise i have absolutely no complaints about this place Edit: please be careful with kratom. I just recently quit taking kratom about 2 months ago after About 2 years of daily use and the withdrawals were absolutely terrible. I have experience with other opioid withdrawals and they were a walk in the park compared to this stuff due to how long the withdrawals lasted. I felt like absolute garbage for about 30 days and I’m still going through the psychological part of it. Don’t start taking it if you’re not on it already. And if you are on it get off while you still can cause the longer you take it the worse the kick is going to be. Best of luck to you...
