Residences At Gallery Place — Local services in Washington

The apartment is nice but it is not built for the noise outside. The people who play music on the street create an obnoxious amount of noise. On the 9th floor I can hear the music throughout my apartment. If I place my hand on the window or the wall facing the street I can feel the vibrations. This usually lasts between 4-10:15 pm and has increased to daily with the warmer weather. There is "legislation in front of city council to curb the noise level" but it seems like this problem has been going on for years and is only getting worse. Super convienient surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars, steps to the metro. Love being in the center of everything. Can get to the Regal Cinemas, Bowling, Bar Charley, Verizon Center, Bed Bath & Beyond etc without even going outside which is great if it's cold or rainy. Walgreens is right across the street. Wonderful building with amenities next to the metro and Capital One arena with hundreds of restaurants and shops in walking distance . You can walk to the museums, government buildings, monuments, etc. Fantastic location ....
