I was at Georgetown yesterday shopping and Sephora was the first store I walked into and walking in I was greeted and then helped by a nice lady. However, I go to checkout and this lady checks me out on one of the little scanners instead of the main ones and mind you it’s only me and one other customer in the store at this time. She scans my products and tells me to “tap or insert”. I do so and it doesn’t work, then in a condescending voice says you’re doing it wrong it’s swipe, where she then talks to me as if I am a toddler and can’t understand when I was following her directions. Next, I swipe it correctly and it pops up with another question credit or debit. I click the correct one and it doesn’t work. She then says again you’re doing it wrong and I show her I’m doing it right. Then I ask if she could try it on the main checkout screen thing and she says she can’t do that. Like what. It was totally doable and she was talking in a monotone voice and had no care. HORRIBLE customer service, just plain awful (I will gladly point her out… I have had great service in visits before… however she was extremely rude and unhelpful) I ended up leaving without buying anything and it ruined my morning to be greeted with such attitude...
Read moreMy friends and I went to this location, planning to spend money on the items we love. My one friend and I both noticed we were constantly being watched and followed by a worker, while our other friend who is a different race did not experience this. At one point I was viewing a product on display reading it carefully and I looked up to see that I am being starred at by this employee. It startled me because I Immediately noticed I am being watched as if I am plotting to steal something, which I would never do! Not only did I make eye contact with this employee who is starring at me from afar, she never asked to see if I needed help or offered me a basket. At this point I walked to a different section and somehow she ended up coming to this section as well. What a coincidence. Every time I would try to view an item she would find a way to check what I am doing. My friend who was experiencing this with me then asked her for help with an item, which she was very unhelpful with. As much as I wanted to purchase something, I refuse to spend money at a location that makes me feel uncomfortable and unhappy while shopping. I am never coming back. I wish I would’ve gotten this employee’s name because I would definitely have...
Read moreKadija and Joy are the BEST!!! Kadija helped me do my makeup and find the absolute perfect shade match for my very very fair skin, i’m SO in love with the makeup done on me and all the workers are literally sooo nice and supportive. normally when i get foundations and concealers it’s either too yellow toned or too pink toned, but they helped find the perfect neutral foundations for me. Kadija taught me more about skincare and skin-prep before makeup and helped me build a whole routine that was good for my acne-prone, combo and sensitive skin. Joy and other workers were hyping me up the entire time while i was getting my makeup done and Joy taught me how to put blush on in a way i didn’t know how to. they also helped my mom with her skincare. the workers here are so kind they honestly completely made my week and my entire trip to Georgetown!!! i highly recommend this location because i haven’t been to such a nice Sephora location before. the store is huge and they’re stocked up on so much here. overall wonderful customer service, best i’ve experienced, especially at a sephora!! i wish i lived in this state so i could get my makeup done by them regularly,...
