I hate writing bad reviews, especially with a business that's small. But I do have to warn others so they don't waste their credits/money: it was the worst massage I ever got. All the masseuse did was swirl her hands on my back with oil for most of the hour. She occasionally dug her elbows in some muscles, but that was the first 5 minutes. Majority of the time, she didn't massage any of my muscles. She didn't even touch my traps, which is the most tense part of my body. And she spent a lot of time digging her knuckles in my spine and rubbing the bones of my toes (but not even massaging the flesh of it!). The rooms are separated from the lobby by just a curtain, so during my massage, I heard another lady complain that she only got her back and feet massaged, but not her legs. You feel like you're having a massage in the lobby because you hear everyone coming in and out and the ambulances/street noises. And I'm Asian and come from an immigrant family, but the staff's lack of English was problematic. The masseuse couldn't communicate simple things, like what clothes to take off, flip over, etc. And she walked in on my butt naked while I was changing and then tried to rub me down with a wet towel while I tried to get her out. Again, I hate giving bad reviews, but it was a...

The people here are so nice and the last massage I had was great but I feel compelled to share my experience because it felt like a scam. The woman spent thr first 25 minutes (I looked at the clock) lightly pressing up and down my back with open palms while the sheet was still covering me. I asked here about 5 times through the massage to press harder and she never did for more than a minute after I asked. So for 75 minutes until I walked out she was alternately pressing softly or just sort of petting me with the same pressure you would use to wipe down the kitchen counter. After she had been petting my feet for about 10 minutes, spending at least a minute stroking each toe (I guess because it was easy for her) I saw that there were still 15 minutes left and told her i wanted to leave. I was getting so angry by the time she had been petting my feet for more than two minutes and feeling so uncomfortable while trying to psych myself up to ask to leave that my back feels worse now than it did...
Read moreDollar for dollar THE best massage place in the area. I go all the time. I've also gone everywhere else. Others are ok, hit or miss depending on therapist. However, they cannot hold a candle to Serenity on value or consistency. My masseuse is EXCELLENT, the space is clean, quiet, and peaceful every time, and because it is affordable, I go all the time. It's also open late which is great for after office. I book directly with the manager via text -- could not be easier, or better. I don't want to pay for a full-time receptionist or swank building. I want a great massage in a clean, quiet environment, and that's...
