Worst massage experience I have ever had in D.C. I went in for a 60 minute Thai combo massage at Thaitastik. I scheduled an appointment for 12 pm, they asked me to come 15 minutes earlier. My massage started at 11:55 and ended at 12:40pm. Even though my massage had been rushed and cut short by 15 minutes, I was aware they had a busy schedule and made peace with the fact I would not be returning there for another massage. Upon leaving, I took the masseuse Pornwarin's, venmo to leave a tip. As I waiting for the elevator I was chased down by the masseuse because she said my tip had not sent. I told her it sent on my end and she requested to see my phone. I told her I would never in any atmosphere show her my phone to prove I sent a tip, but suggested she check her own phone. She then told me to wait until it sent before I should leave. When I asked her why she was chasing me down for a massage I had already paid in advance for and tip I had already sent despite not completing my full 60 minute massage, she requested I calm down. I have never had such an uncomfortable, stressful, terrible massage experience in my 6 years of living in D.C. I will not be returning to Thaistik and highly do...

I was in need of a Thai massage—especially the stretching components, but I didn’t know of any places nearby. Luckily I found Thaitastik was close by. I was able to easily schedule a session via text for the following day.

Upon arrival Amp greeted me, asked me a few questions about my experience with Thai massage and showed me the restroom. Once in the room, she asked me specific muscles I wanted to focus on. Though it is full body—they spend more time on the places you request. I asked for focus on my lower back, and Amp worked wonders. I feel like a new person today and will definitely be back!

Also the rooms have radiators to keep a nice pleasant temperature, since you will just be in your underwear covered...

I have significant cervical and lumbar back pain from injuries and surgery years ago. After 8hours of travel I was a mess. I was blessed with an appointment with NAE, she is very nice and asked what problem areas she could help me with. Although she stretched and massaged my entire body she focused on the problem areas. She is small but she is very strong! She worked out rock hard knots in my neck and shoulders and lower back. Once those knots were released she stretched out the major muscle groups.
