Will never shop here again. Realized that I left my phone in the store. Mind you, I had bought a large item and had walked in and out of the store several times and not once did the cashier stop me to get my phone. Called it and it was answered by the manager who told me that they had closed and that I could get it in the morning when they opened. Advised her that I desperately needed it. At the time my husband was out of town and my phone was the only form of contact. Also told her that I work 8-630, there was no way that I would be able to pick it up the next day. She said ok let me call my manager and see what I can do and she hung up on me. Didn’t ask for a number to call back or anything. So I called my phone back, again she answered. Told me that she has paperwork to do and wasn’t going to stop what she was doing to bring me my phone. Also said it was a security issue for her to pass it to me through the door. Although there were 2 other males in the store as well as 3 other women. I’m 5’5 and had my 3 children with me. I told her that you guys have to leave so I’ll just wait. They closed at 7pm, I pulled up at 710...this lady made me wait until 815pm to get my phone and that was literally after she walked up to the front doors...
Read moreThey are price gouging like crazy. I literally held a box that had the original price tag on it and the Goodwill price tag was $3 more expensive than the original. They price speakers that go to one item separately so you have to pay three times for the one item and their inventory is not great they're really really terrible mattresses sell for or are priced at more than a luxury mattress. They've changed their system so if there's not a price tag on it it is scanned and then priced almost for the original value no matter how used it is and they told me for months that they couldn't access the system to give military discounts at that location which was a total BS lie as another employee finally said no don't let anyone ever tell you that which is what I already knew but the same two people kept telling me over and over again I couldn't get my discount because they couldn't access that system I used to love Goodwill so much and then this location has completely ruined it because they get 100% profit out of every item because they don't pay for anything and then now they want a price gouge and then make you pay several times for the same item even though those items are proprietary to each...
Read moreA-OK in my book. We try to donate as much stuff as we can, versus just tossing it out. I wish I had the patience to hold it for the neighborhood garage sale, but this is so much easier (and potentially tax detectable, be sure to ask for a receipt).
Just pull up to the side of the building and the helpful attendant will unload for you. Do note the sign (see picture) describing what will NOT be accepted.
This location is surprising well organized and clean. I like how they have put "vintage clothing" in a special area called "The Funky G Boutique" (see picture), though I have no idea what the "G" is for. Got a disco party to go to? You may very well find your outfit here.
Quite a bit of art too. Is that a Degas I see?
Another thing at this location is the "Auction Case" (see photos). Basically it's the "good" stuff. There's a book, by the cashier, where you can enter a bid (or see the highest bid). I think there is also a live auction, though I've never been. I'm also not sure how it works with the auction book and the live auction. Perhaps an "in person" person can outbid the book?
Oh, and if you are a senior (55+), you get a discount (be...
