The restaurant was clean. Food was hot. We were greeted as soon as we walked up to the counter. Greeted later by a different employee walking up the counter later. And greeted by a third employee later through the little window. But it was still the worst experience I've ever had in a Pizza Hut or "Wing Street". First of all, it's not a Wing Street. The difference between a PH and WS is TVs, bar, sometimes karaoke. This was in fact, just a PH. Although greeted by several employees the place just had a real depressing vibe. All of the employees didn't even seem to really be interacting with each other. They all had this dead inside look in their eyes. Food was hot, pizza tasted great. Wings were hot, but were tough and chewy. My wife is a fan of PH wings (her favorite), but this was a let down. In conclusion I want to apologize to the previous reviewer who said "Just not good." I'm sorry I didn't believe you. And I paid the ultimate price. Stay away from this PH, not WING STREET, they are indeed just a PH, unless you like a dark depressing atmosphere with your dinner. My wife says the wings were small, more like chicken nuggets. I buy her PH wings all the time, and she knows her PH wings, she felt cheated. And hurt. I feel like she can be dramatic so please redact that from the review, but I told her I would put it in and I don't want to be a liar. Omfg... AND she wants me to add we sat our children (1yo & 2yo) down at a table, ordered drinks as well, and our food was brought out in To Go mode. She felt it was super unwelcoming and we had to ask for plates and cutlery since we were planning to dine in. We did in fact decide to leave and eat at home because the place just bummed us out and I was desperate to try to salvage my wife's bday dinner. (We were planning a proper bday dinner for the weekend so she asked for something she just enjoyed since her bday landed on a weekday [I just felt I had to clarify why I would take my wife to PH for a bday dinner, its A) What she wanted and B) We would do something fancy once we could drop these little monsters with their grandparents...
Read moreI ordered 3 large Supreme Pizzas the night before the morning I was to pick up. I was picking them up at their opening time,10:30 or so, to take to a friend (and his family) whose wife had died 2 days earlier. I phoned in the order late on a Tues afternoon so I could pick up by 11:00 the following day, Wednesday, and have the food to friends by lunch time. The woman who took my order was pleasant and competent. However, when I arrived to get the pizzas, there were none in sight. The young man working checked and found that my pick up time had been entered as 11:00 PM instead of AM.. Rather inconvenient. If they had been for ANYONE else besides a grieving family, I'd not have had a problem. So I was told it'd be 30 + mins to make, which, as I said, if the food had not been for mourners who were expecting it - no big deal. My "complaint," if you can call it that, is that no one ever really apologized or offered any type of solution or even accepted responsibility for the mistake. I KNOW the female who took my order understood that the pizzas were for the following MORNING, because I confirmed their opening hours a number of times; I wanted to ensure that if I got them between 10:30 and 11:00 in the morning, then I would be able to have hot (warm) pizzas at my friend's house by noon. She understood and repeated it in our discussion. I would have appreciated maybe an offer of Pizza Hut delivering those pies, because I had to move that meal to Thursday, meaning an EXTRA TRIP for me: on that Wed, then AGAIN on Thurs. But no, nothing. Just pretty disappointed, in that they were aware of the reason why I ordered from them in the...
Read moreSo my wife ordered a dinner box from here and a 2 liter of Pepsi. They send out a driver and they didnt give the driver the Pepsi. We have nothing else to drink at the house (why we ordered the pepsi) so when they delivered the pizza with no drink we called pizza hut and they said they would send it out. Ok no big deal. 45 minutes later.... still nothing. I call them. A lady answers the phone and I tell her we just want our drink, As people are waiting to eat the food till they have something to drink. She said it's already been sent out and it's just a waiting game. I said ok and let it go. 27 minutes later we get a message from doordash saying a driver is on the way to the store to pick up our pepsi. I feel like I got lied to by the lady. We only live 9 minutes from the store. And yet here we are almost an hour and 45 minutes after our food was delivered and we are just now getting our pepsi. Long after our pizza is cold. If I'd have known it would take that long I would've made arrangements to come get it. But what I dont get is why did that lady lie to me? Idk but this puts some serious doubts into whether or not i call mr Jim's next time. Which sucks because No one out pizzas the hut, but Jesus getting them to deliver a 2 liter has proved too freakin...
