I went through the drive through and realized that I had received the wrong order... I took it back to point this out and I do have an appreciation for the manager who made an attempt to make it right, however I had ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 orders of mozzarella (6pc) sticks and what I received was just 1 of the sandwiches and a 4pc mozzarella stick. I had pointed this out to the employee (I think the manager?) As he brought out an order to the vehicle beside me. He then asked me for my original receipt, which I handed him, then he motioned for me to wait, at least that's what my interpretation of him apologizing and verbally telling me to wait while pointing his index finger straight up in the air while also "nodding it" at me twice with a face expression of concern and stress, but I guess maybe it was actually as if saying to me "no you only get one order" because he never returned, shortly after re-entering Arby's (which was closed for indoor ordering) the lights all turned out, I waited a few more minutes before deciding to drive back through the drive thru, where I was just blatantly ignored, so I drove to the entrance of the building, where I could see the employees cleaning the fryers and going through their closing procedures..... I noticed an employee point out my presence to the presumed manager,(the employee who had previously taken my order and then later who came to my car, gave me an incomplete order and took my receipt before telling me to wait), .....and well I waited. I waited for 20 f*ing minutes After recieving the incomplete order and addressing it, I waited based on good faith and not wanting to follow my gut instincts telling me that he wasn't going to bring me my food. Which sucks because I was hungry and tired. But the really frustrating (and imo, the justification for airing it out on a google review) is the lack of consideration for my time... Which in total was 56 minutes from the time I realized I had received the wrong order, turned around, went back through the drive through, waited for an incomplete order, and then waited because I was told to wait.....I would have been slightly bummed out and hungry to hear that they closed the register and the fryers/ grills for the night so unfortunately I would have been burnt for $ a refund as well as the actual food I had paid for, sure. But I would have had THAT HOUR back, and I'm sure it holds true for most people, I REALLY didn't have an hour to spare, if I did, I probably would NOT have been going through a FAST food joint in the first place. ..... Not to mention the then "EXCITING" and "Joy Filled" TIME spent trying to explain to my hungry family, why I was out for an extra hour yet returned without food .....Thanks for robbing me of $14, along with my time, my family's love and respect and my mozzarella sticks, oh and the fuel I used on the returned trip and idling car... You, Arby's of Watchung NJ, you are...
Read moreNeeding to be in the area for a couple days and also needing to kill some time I figured I would visit a local shopping center with plans to maybe do a little shopping as well as grab a bite to eat. When searching on Google for a suitable location not far from where I had gone to and needed to return later I found this mall as well as the one down the road both of which seemed to have some suitable spots to do what I was hoping to do. Getting to the shopping Center was an easy journey but then while driving through looking for the stores I had hoped to visit I noticed some of the worst driving I have ever seen in New Jersey. It seemed that everyone was in such a hurry that they had no time for safety to where they would not even obey the pedestrian crossing laws in NJ which require you to stop for pedestrians. Not of course being familiar with the area I took a wrong turn coming out of the plaza and ended up going on the incorrect roadway which took me so far down the highway I decided it wasn't worth the headaches and decided to go back early to my planned pick-up spot. I guess I should have learned my lesson sooner since I experienced similar problems earlier at the Watchung Mall just...
Read moreI may be biased but I literally have no real use for this shopping center beyond shoprite, and dollar tree. This center seems to have gone past its glory days and is on its way out. I have never visited the Arby's, and i dont plan on it, the ever changing buffet seems to change into a new restaurant every other month, and this location mostly serves more as an unofficial ramp to 22 west. If i could suggest maybe more clothing stores that arent a dishevelled, unorganized mess (i.e. Marshalls, Kohl's), and possibly any type of tech store, or anything really. There is a Childrens Place on site, as well as a massage spa I have been dying to try. Basically, dont expect much, but shoprite and Kohls are basically this center's...
