Zero stars should be an option. I attempted to return an item today. I was in the store at around 9:15 AM March 31, 2022. I know 100% that the store manager called security on me. I came in to attempt to return a pair of shoes that my daughter had worn and we had some issues with the sizing and which is her correct size however they were so loose that she constantly tripped. So I understand the return policy that’s not what this review is about I understand items must be out unworn despite it’s only been a week and a half since purchasing them I totally get that part. What I don’t understand is why moments later after that interaction with the manager who I believed was unnecessarily condescending the security guard comes up is now in my vicinity, mind you being that it’s so early and in the morning there were probably about two other customers in the store at this time. The reason why I know that he was specifically sent for me is because of the exact timing. Within minutes of my conversation concluding. I went to select the correct size of shoes and then began walking as I proceeded to call Burlington customer service to report the issue among some other things that I’ve been noticing. So while I’m on hold waiting for Burlington customer service. I notice specifically that be came to the area that I was standing and I know that’s not by coincidence as we locked eyes and look at my bag and the shoes in my hand and I’m wise enough to know when something is up . I then proceeded to go to the checkout line and with the security guard conveniently placed himself in that area and which he continued to watch me it’s extremely inappropriate. I one hundred percent was experiencing some sort of profiling which I believe was initiated by the store manager whom I interacted with. I know I absolutely gave no cues of inappropriate or odd suspicious behavior l. I have no intention of shopping at this location. I am a loyal member to Burlington and have shopped this location frequently over the last ten years. I am happy to patronize the other locations...
Read moreI have to give Burlington coat factory a very poor a very poor review because when I went there there's always only one or two people working the front end and there's lines always out the door they should have more staff on hand to help you when you need help like I ask for help to find some clothing of a bigger size and they did not have it and I was totally ignored I felt that we need to get more people on staff right away at the brass Mill mall it is a very important thing that we get all the the the bandaged all the people working there at that store because it is so busy over there that is a very popular location it is the Burlington coat factory in the brass Mill mall it is a very heavy and very fast location and needs all hands on deck at all times during from Monday through Friday Saturday and Sunday stuff that are there at the front and are overwhelmed by the amount of people buying items and goods and services this time of the year it is summer you know and everybody in their uncle wants to buy a brand new bathing suit or a brand new pair of water shoesand you have all those things so you should get on the ball and get more help to the brass Mill Mall Burlington coat...
Read moreI live 2 min away from this store. If I need anything at all the first place I visit is this store. Today I'm truly disappointed. I went to the store with my 1-year-old son I didn't have a stroller or baby carrier. After picking up a few things for him and as soon as I was about to join the line ( which was very long) my baby fall asleep. I walk over to the loss and prevention guy and ask him how can I put my things on layaway until later in the afternoon. I explain to him that my baby fall asleep and it was hard to stand with him in my hand and wait in line. He responded that to do layaway I'd have to join the line and talk with a register. Smh... I then ask him if there is a manager I could speak to. He then point at 2 ladies and said that they were both managers. I walk over to then introduce myself politely and explain the issue they both look at me and said they don't do layaway and there is nothing that they can do.
