So I was feeling like a sinner after a long nite of booze, cocaine and hookers so i decided to find a priest to confess my sins. As I looked around I realized I was in front of Father Jimmy's. I walked in and tried to confess about my crazy night of sex and drugs but the guy behind the pulpit kept telling me he didnt want to hear my confession. Once i stopped hallucinating I realized I was in some sort of store not a church. I was Very confused at this point. I also realized I wasnt wearing a shirt, hmm I wonder what happened to my shirt? Luckily they had new shirts so i bought one, and while I was in a spending mood bought an awesome pipe,some incense and rolling papers! This is the coolest shop in Waterville. I recently moved to Waterville and have been checking out what the local shops have to offer. I stopped in because it is my father’s birthday, who happens to be named Jimmy. I was delighted to meet the owner/curator, “Father Jimmy.” Each item I inquired, there was an amazing story to explain where they came from. Jimmy is a world traveler and has limited edition pieces of art from all over the world. Silk-screens from Mexico, gorgeously hand painted papyrus from Egypt; the finds here are exceptional. On display are beautiful hand made glass pieces, personally by Father Jimmy. The crystals are clearly carefully chosen and found by Jimmy. Admittedly, my inner narcissist stopped in because my name also happens to be Jim... and I am indeed a father... ha! However, I was pleasantly surprised to walk into a legitimate bohemian shop where the owner literally remembered where he found each piece on display. Often these shops buy large lots of items but the selection at Father Jimmy's was filled with unique stand alone items.
