Spectrum Store — Local services in Watsonville

Went in for an equipment swap (business modem ethernet port failed), with an appointment scheduled by the authorized account user (not me). The lady at the counter made NO effort to try to understand the situation, problem solve, show any empathy AT ALL.

My issue is that this was just an absolutely atrocious customer service experience from this associate and they didn’t even meet the standard for basic human etiquette.

Edit: the other associates were more friendly and empathetic (especially Perla) - they tried to at least look into the situation, confirmed that a technician would have the equipment necessary to get our service back, and was helpful in adding my contact information to the business account (after authorization from the account holder of course). Let this be your warning to go with DirectTV :). 2 stars because Internet/phone is fine, but TV was a nightmare. Had to visit the store 5 times and had a technician come out. And still no cable, was promised channels that we didn’t get. I got a “free” Xumo box that they put on my bill, I returned it so quick made the switch and DirectTV was set up as soon as we got off the phone. I’m still getting phone calls and emails about my xumo box I returned 2 weeks ago. Bummer, I really liked spectrum before I moved here.

**Update: Changing to 1 star review because I am still getting charged for a Xumo box a month later that I never installed and returned immediately when I saw it on my bill. (I was told it would be free for a year). If you must go with spectrum ALWAYS...

Today I walked into this store w/o an appointment. Jose immediately helped me in swapping my current cell phone to another one and I also dropped my old company and now have Spectrum coverage and a brand new Samsung Android. He was most efficient,, helpful and truly professional. Made it easy for me to understand features, pricing, etc. It was a breeze. He certainly made this easy for me. (I am a Senior and in my 80's....!). Let me say the price is right! This was definitely a great deal. ...
