This store is filled with zombies, like rude disgruntled employees, it looks like a beautiful store when you walk in you see the beautiful flowers you see the bakery the bakery just smells so good it tempts you so much however the employees act as if they're not getting paid and they're being forced to work, then again my experience may be different than yours, I walked in and looked around saw that I needed someone to open the case to get what I needed I asked the bag girl and she just rudely says to me you have to ask the checker so then I asked the checker and she just looks at me and turns around and picks up the phone and calls somebody no good evening, buenas tardes, can I help you with anything, con que te puedo ayudar then the person that walked up to me to help me walks up to me dragging her feet like a zombie her face was dragging all the way to the floor I even said to her why don't you smile and she just lifted up her lips as if to smile and then droped them right back down, I told her what I wanted she unlocked the case and handed me the cream again no good evening, no buenas tardes, what canI help you with, no con que te puedo ayudar, I was nice and friendly, but did not get that back from any of the employees in this store I was so surprised because it is a new store they just opened it was in the evening about 5:30 6:00 and the store had like maybe three customers I got in line to pay for my cream the first customer left as I was getting into the line and then I was next again no good I spoke to them in Spanish and in English to try to make them comfortable to know that they could speak to me in whatever language they knew because I felt like it's a Mexican store and everybody that works there is Mexican and only speaks Spanish however I feel that the store must have hired bilinguals so that they can help everyone, regardless of which language they speak I was treated rudely, š at my turn at the register she just says to me do you want a bag I said no thank you she told me how much it was I gave her the money and then she practically threw the change back at me some of it fell on the counter because she didn't put it in my hand then she doesn't even say good evening thank you for coming anything, I respectfully said Thank you and as I was walking out I heard how she was treating the woman behind me the woman walks up she says to her oh good evening in Spanish do you need a bag, I don't understand why but this woman was treated way better than I was treated she was greeted and treated kindly, my big surprise is the fact that it is a brand new store you would think that the employees would be very friendly and kind and helpful instead of looking as if they're working and not getting paid forced labor, so I don't know what your experience will be hopefully it will be better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved the store set up. The variety of departments is great! Very bright and welcoming. Very great addition to Watsonville. The only reason I donāt give it 5 stars is because at checkout, my clerk scanned my items and asked me to guess how many bags I needed. As I was paying on the pin pad, she stood there and pushed my items to one side of the convoy belt and just laid the bag on top of the items. She stood there waiting for me to finish paying. I have two babies, so attending them, paying and having to bag my own items is stressful. Especially having a line of customers behind you. I wouldāve appreciated some help just bagging my items. Nob Hill in town might be slightly more pricey but the customer service at checkout is unbeatable. But other than that the...
Ā Ā Ā Read more0/10 recommend.. At least the hot food area.. My family went this morning for breakfast and not only was the food bland, but not one but TWO workers couldnāt figure out how to make juevos rancheros even tho itās ON THE MENU.. Then on top of that, they were making only one item at a time which means my mother in laws food was cold by the time my husbands food was ready. They advertise chorizo and egg but itās actually linguica. Nothing was good. The pupusas were bland and dry. The pico de gallo was bland and dry. I just donāt understand how everything was so bad. The only good thing that this store has is the meat department. They really need to hire people with better food skills for the...
