Came in at 930 am this morning for an acute sick medication. Was told it would be ready in 2 hours and that I would receive a text. I informed the gentleman at the pharmacy that I have NEVER received a text before when a prescription was ready, he said I'll get a text and to come back in 2 hours. Came back at 230 pm and was told they do not have that medication in stock. I was never called, never texted. When asked, they said I'm not enrolled in text (no duh, told them that earlier) and that I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs for the next closest CVS to fill it. This should have been transferred this morning when I came in the first time. Wholly unprofessional, didn't follow their own requirements to verify enrollment in texting, didn't call patient to inform me of their error. I hope their kids get back to back ear infections, and they get di**ed around by the pharmacy the way...
