Dollar General — Local services in Wautoma

The manager of this store is rude. She hastily typed in my DL information when taking a check. It was declined. I had plenty of my money in my checking account. Instead of checking to see if she made an error, she slaps the slip of paper on the coutner and loudly tells me I was declined because of my credit with that company and to call the number on the paper. After contacting Certegy, it was determined that it was a missmatch of information put into the register and actually that company protecting me from fraud. She was out of line to assume it was based on bad credit and unprofessional with her delivery and made me feel emberrased even though I know that I did nothing wrong and have an excellent credit score. I was just in the store in Wautoma. Put items on counter, girl on ladder stocking (behind counter sorta off to the side) looked at me and then continued to stock shelf. I waited and then said are you going to help me checkout? She said I'm not working. I said your stocking shelves. She again said I'm not working. I said is the manager here because if your not being paid you should not be on a elevated device stocking shelves.She then said did you ring the bell? I said no because your right here. She again said I'm not working. Then she yelled for someone. Seriously if she couldn't checkout she should have just said I'll get someone to help you. It's sad if this is how employees are trained. Oh, and not being paid...

There is almost always a long line. The associates do NOT come from stocking the store to help the people waiting in line. I hate running in there cuz it always takes forever! The associates are not friendly at all and it's not "customers always right"there by any means. I only go in there if I HAVE to. I would rather drive to redgranite to go to dollar general there. This wautoma one is awful. I hope the employees or management see this. You seriously need some changes. Nice employees for one! More helpful for 2! Improve check out process! And come away from stocking to Help! Those would be a good start to improving your location. Until then I will go to family Dollar down the street or dollar general...
