Brookshire's — Local services in Weatherford

We've been going here ten years now. Love seeing the same faces, for the most part. Summer and seasonal young people change over time, as is normal.

They started cutting back on variety a few years ago, but the management was kind enough to say he'll order items for us (I needed more low-sugar, low-sodium, &/or gluten-free items). It's just a great hometown store for good food selection. Lots of fresh, healthy options. There are tons of snack foods. A few specialty and ethnic choices. The deli, meat, and bakery departments do great custom orders! All you have to do is ask!

All staff in the store are taught to be kind and helpful. This is one of the last stores that will have someone walk you to your vehicle and help you load it.

I love being about to shop, then use our cumulative points to get discount fuel right in the same parking lot. Even the gas station attendants know our faces!

This is actually my go to grocery store in Weatherford. However, about twenty years ago I worked as a grocery bagger. One of my first jobs! I remember we had to take a class on what to bag with what, what was fragile and how to treat it..etc. The kids working at Brookshires now just throw my stuff around. They bruise my bananas by putting them in bags with cans and smoosh my bread! It's so frustrating to go to a place expecting higher quality to be let down/disappointed. I never see a manager or adult supervisors with these kids. It's why I'm still giving the store 3 stars, but they could do better. Teach these kids good customer service, take time to lead! I have purchased "boneless skinless" chicken from the butcher that was full of small bones I had to pick out and the sirloin steak comes in one big piece instead of cut in serving sizes! I recently moved to Weatherford from Fort Worth retired I really love Brookshire's that's my store now .The manager helped me get on the app so I could get special pricing the cashiers are so nice very helpful reminded me about my senior discount and how about this they even carried my groceries out to the car for me lordy lordy I haven't seen that in years. I love the deli fresh food looks appetizing. WE also have at Brookshire's in Weatherford the nicest fresh vegetables and they're clean. The Kroger's that I shopped at in Fort Worth Westside I bought frozen vegetables because they're fresh vegetable area was dirty and so was the vegetables.
