I have a few complaints. The nail techs all but outright refuse to touch your feet during the massage. It’s like they are tickling your feet and playing piano on your legs. I was so mad I paid for a 12 min massage pedi and each time I leave with the same sore feet I walked in with.
Then they put just anyone on your nails and feet. Why are you pairing technicians with severe language barriers who mostly only know how to do basic clip and trim with someone who might have a more complex request that will likely garner objections and feedback?
I went in ON my birthday and that visit was the last straw and I drove home crying about how ugly my toes looked. I was so disappointed.
Last year I got a coupon thru text message for 10% off. I didn’t use it but I figured they’d have the deal my next birthday. I didn’t get a text but I figured maybe telling them about my birthday would garner a small discount. So imagine hurt I was when I walked in, told them it was my birthday and all I got was a fake smile and a sarcastic happy birthday before his smile went back blank.
I was paired with a tech who spoke absolutely no English but I figured maybe she had bomb skills….?
Heck no. I needed a refill on the overlay on my big toes, nails trimmed down and filed square with shellac polish and paraffin wax. Relatively simple? Apparently not.
It took 45 minutes for her to refill the acrylic on 2 toes. She made the acrylic very thick and she shaped the big toe disproportionately wider than my natural toe nails so it looked weird.
After the acrylic she almost skipped trimming my toe nails down and when she went back to cut them, she rushed and cut them too short and slanted.
She barely applied any pressure with the foot rasp whatsoever so she lifted more skin than removing it completely so the bottom of my feet were rough.
Whenever I get hot towels, I almost always get the paraffin wax and they always apply the wax then the towels.
The lady applied the towels before she even trimmed my cuticles and scrubbed with the rasp. So I sat there cood with nothing to warm my feet once the towels cooled off…which she left on for 30 min.
By the time she started the polish, it had been 2 hours. It took an hour to do the polish…because instead of telling me the polish was too sheer and would require many coats giving me opportunity to select another…she sat and applied 5 COATS! I didn’t realize until she was about to start the 3rd coat and I just couldn’t wait for her to redo it.
My toe nails came out short and stubby, awkwardly shaped, lumpy polish with air bubbles, rough sandpaper patches on the bottom of my heels. Massage was trash. I couldn’t even relax because it felt like she would mess up worse than she did. When I tried to speak up it was clear she couldn’t understand and wasn’t trying to ask for help so I gave up feeling defeated.
After 3 hours (yes 1:30 to 4:30) I drove home crying! Happy birthday to me!
This was not the first time they put a random poorly skilled person on my usual service and they screwed it up. They’ve also put people on my nails who use drill bits on my natural nails specifically for acrylic tho.
Andy and Peter are the best nail techs in the shop. Unfortunately it’s obvious they don’t care to do nails if they can’t do designs or bling so they will complete your nails beautifully with an expression that clearly says you wasted their time.
So I stopped getting my nails done with them and after that birthday pedicure I will...

Update: I came this past weekend and was just disappointed. My sister made an appointment for me, her and 2 other sisters. We came in 10 minutes early to the appointment to look for colors based on references we had. They took each one of us except for one. My younger sister was sitting by her self just waiting. She waited 20 minutes before someone was able to take of her. As for my nails I came thinking i was going to get an amazing set. The tech did an ok job on the nails, but the details where crooked. I brushed it off and continued my appointment. By the end of the appointment i was meh with my nails. They looked cute but the longer you look at the nails you see the how details are crooked. It lasted two days. I got them done on 6/27…it is 6/29 and my nail broke off…i didn’t even notice it. It fell off as if there was nothing holding it. I went in just now to fix it I thought it was going great until now im outside my house noticing how there is just a clump of acrylic under the fixed nail and it looks silly. Its not even the same color compared to the others.
Old review vvvv My sister always comes here to get her nails done and they always look so cute. So i decided today was the day to get my nails done for the first time in a while. Andy was my nail tech and the service was amazing. I wanted an ombré and man he killed it. It looks so amazing. Throughout my appointment Andy made sure that I liked the shape, color, etc was good enough for me. He really cares about making the client happy. I will definitely be...

I am from Louisiana, but I travel to TX every 2 weeks to visit my husband, who is working there. I 1st found this little salon over a year ago after trying several other places. High Class Nails is by far the best place I have tried. The location is nice as well. Right next to Target and right across the street from the BayBrook Mall. They have SOOO many colors to choose from, and they are easy to look through because they keep them organized by color. It's the easiest way to search through. ALL of the pinks together, etc. They will do exactly and whatever you ask them to do. I like a specific shape to my nails, and they do a great job. I venture to say they also give the best pedicure I have ever had. There are 8-10 different pedicure options, each has a different massage time, and they set a timer, so you know you are getting what you paid for. They offer free beverage options while you are there. The ONLY thing I'm not a fan of is if you are there to get your toes and nails done, they will work on both at the same time. For me. I want to be able to relax and enjoy the massage chair, maybe listen to some music, but if they are working on your nails while you are getting your toes done, there is no relaxing. I will still use them...
