We were staying in Webster nearby and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It was so good, we went twice. First of all, the decor was gorgeous and unique. I’ve never been in a restaurant like it. It created an environment of beauty that invited relaxation and peace. They have lots of items and we had a lot of questions. Thankfully, the superb staff had a lot of answers (multiple staff across both visits were all able to answer questions about the menu effortlessly). I got Za’atar omelet the first time and they asked if I was familiar with Za’atar. If one is not familiar with Za’atar, it may throw them off the first time, so this was wise question. But Za’atar is delicious (I keep it in my kitchen) and the omelet was the best I’ve had in a restaurant in a while. The smoked salmon my wife had was also incredible.
I think this reflects the balance of the restaurant: It offers something new and wonderful, while also giving you the information to decide what new beauty you may enjoy. We also had some savory crepes (definitely try one of the pesto ones and the Alfredo chicken), which are a favorite of ours that we too rarely see in crepe restaurants. The chocolate dipping platter was a lot of fun, decadent and yet relatively healthy dessert for us and our kids. We drank too many iced lattes and Kaffeinated’s to-go cups are the best.
We got to speak with the owner, who was very kind and gracious. On our first visit, there were a group of ladies who were toasting and encouraging their friend on an upcoming health related surgery. The owner asked what the occasion was and brought them out a platter of huge strawberries dipped and drizzled in chocolate. I think this generous gesture speaks to the heart of the owner and culture at Kaffeinated.
We hope they open up a location in Dallas, especially in the East Dallas, Greenville, or...
Read moreI’m so excited to find this place! I grew up in Houston but I’ve always struggled to find the right place that checks all the boxes for me where I can meet up with my friends after school drop off, or do some online work comfortably. The atmosphere was the first thing that appealed to me here. The owner put thought and effort to make the place so charming. It’s also spacious yet cozy, and calm and peaceful even though it’s a popular cafe. The first time I came with my whole family and we each ordered something different, and the food was excellent. The only reason why we didn’t all clean our plates was because the serving sizes were so generous. The sautéed potatoes that came on the side of the breakfast dishes are probably the best potatoes we have ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, we couldn’t stop eating them. We also tried their delicious large crepes and they don’t hold back on their fillings/toppings. We also don’t eat pork or pork gelatin and my kids were excited to be able to share the s’mores crepe and have turkey bacon with their omelette. I also have to mention the coffee! We are very picky and this place knows their coffee. They serve Turkish coffee and espresso in the right way, and they even have my favorite coffee, Spanish latte which is hard to find in the USA. I really can’t say enough...
Read moreThis is truly a little hidden gem. The food is beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. They have very big portions for a very very reasonable price. I'm talking a giant plate of food for only 15 dollars.
Their menu is huge. It has a very wide range of food items from sweet crepes, omelets, traditional american breakfasts, traditional turkish breakfasts, savory crepes, and a massive drink menu. You can truly not go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm a particularly big fan of the Turkish coffee, as it has a very pleasant cardamom flavor and isn't overly astringent.
The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. They have a giant flower tree in the middle with a huge flower wall, and even a cute little photo area. Even the music is a pleasant classical music that isn't too loud. They even have outdoor seating!
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They are all smiles, and quite efficient. The food was quickly brought out as well, so we weren't waiting for very long.
Both times I went (October 2025) at peak brunch time, it was not packed. The tables are nicely spaced out, so you don't feel cramped.
I cant stress it enough, this place is beautiful. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the staff. I hope this place stays in business for a very very long time, because...
