I have been going to this jewelers for the last 15 years, from when they were on Hwy 3 to moving to their current location on Gulf Freeway/Bay Area blvd. Wendy was my âgo to associateâ, and fabulous she was. I went in last Wed. morning, 3/27 about 10.25am, with 2 Longines watches, one over 50 years old, a gift from my father to my son, the other 10+, both, we thought needed batteries. Lori, very sweet, took the watches to the repair man who said the older one needed a battery, the newer one could possibly needs new âcrownâ, that they would text/call me when either of the watches were ready. When lori was completing the paperwork she asked for help from her colleague, wow, that colleague was so rude to her I was dumbfounded and totally shocked, she spoke to Lori like she was inhuman, totally demeaning her infront of me, disgraceful treatment of anyone, but a colleague?, wow wow. I asked for Wendy, sadly, she has left, I was so disappointed especially in the light of my experience, she was professional, respectful and very kind. That was Wednesday. By Friday afternoon I still had no received a call saying that the watch requiring the battery was ready, so I called and I was told that it was ready and I could go pick it up. I was also told that the second watch had to be sent out for the crown and other repairs, I asked if it had already been sent and I was told that it had no, that there were employees off on Wednesday and Thursday so it hadnât gone out. I picked up the working watch on Monday, and when I asked about the second watch I was told that it still hadnât been shipped out. I asked to speak to the manager, who it turned out was the man who was serving me, who very clearly couldnât give a damn about the poor service. I asked him for my watch back, and I will not return to these jewelers. Itâs very sad that after 15 years this is how they treat a long standing customer, after choosing them over the many competitors...
Read moreIf I had the ability to give Lewis Jewelers a higher rating, I would. After tragically losing my husband, I wanted to have a ring made to represent that time in my life. I wanted something special for myself to open on Christmas morning.
I am not familiar with jewelry, I mainly wear silver with the exception of my wedding ring. I reached out to Lewis Jewelers and shared my idea with them not sure if it would even be possible to have completed in time. Nicole invited me to come in and meet with her and she took her time with me. I felt as if I had known her my whole life. She was gentle and kind and truly captured the beauty, love, and blessings of that part of my life.
This was an emotional experience for many reasons. I knew that I didn't want to know what it looked like, that way it was a true surprise on Christmas morning. I cannot tell you enough how special Lewis Jewelers made me and my daughter feel. They had wrapped up my gift and a gift for my daughter so beautifully. Christmas morning was very difficult but we were able to find joy in our beautiful personalized jewelry which were a true surprise! When I look at it now, it brings a smile to my face which is rare these days. This special piece of jewelry is something I can wear for the rest of my life and always reflect on the wonderful man I knew and loved.
Tom was a true gentleman, along with Slade. I walked in with tears of sadness and came out with tears of joy for how genuine these strangers were to us. Of course, they are no longer strangers. I will share my experience with anyone who will listen because Lewis Jewelers is the exception. You become a member of their family, not a customer. I encourage you to pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Read moreThe care and attention of your entire staff, especially the saleswoman who took care of me, not only surprised me, but left me feeling optimistic about the world of service, which we sadly see too often in decline! Even when I was recommended Lewis by a customer (ironically named Lewis, from Ireland) and merely wanted a replacement rubber watch band for my sports watchâand this was a small purchaseâyour saleswoman was very untiring in finding and ordering the one best for my modest needs. Her consistent and skilled communication was a breath of fresh air. The great attention she gave was out of proportion with the outlay of the purchase I planned, which made an impression on me. Thus is why I feel like going out of my way to write this long positive review, an essay really!
I had been considering getting a necklace for myself for over a month, and though I am not much of a jewelry wearer, I asked to be shown some necklaces while there. The kind saleswoman informed me as to the reputation, style and quality of David Yurman, of whom I was oblivious. Since what we imagined would suit me was not in the case, she took the efforts to scare something up from back stock and put something appealing together for me. Her skill in sales did not go unnoticed, so I did not feel too coaxed to make the right purchase. I am not swayed by pressure sales, quite the opposite! I do generally not make impulse purchases, but this wasnât one exactly. I had been thinking of a necklace with a cross pendant for over a month and the saleswomanâs expertise in jewelry as well as in âthe product sells itselfâ salesmanship lent me all the confidence I needed. Its not something I will forget, least of all because I wear the...
