My birthday invitations came out very nice however when I went to pick them up today this evening, I see the lady busy with something else so I waited till she was done to acknowledge me. It took a while so I finally said something just she knew my presence. Never once did she look at me as I asked about my pick up order. All she replied was “yes” without even looking at me or saying anything else. I waited there for a little longer, and had to sit down being so pregnant, still waiting and watching her as she just moves boxes around and sweeps the floor. Literally nothing but trying to help me. Another associate came to drop something off in the printing are, a young guy and I asked him for help, gave him my name and he went to her and she finally asked for my name even though I had just said it right in front of her to him. Crazy how I had to ask someone else for help for her to even acknowledge me. I was never once rude to her. She gave off a shady attitude and completely ignored my question. When I went to pay I told her I had change so I could get the whole dollar amount back instead of a bunch of change, she ignored me, gave me the change and walked off… soooo frustrating. Please teach your team members better...
Read moreWhen you do online shopping and pre-pay for everything, there is supposed to be an online pick up counter to go to in order to expedite the process. That is what you are told in an email after making the purchase. The reality at this store is that there’s no such counter. So you waste time standing in a long line with everyone else shopping in the store and then when you get to the counter, they think it’s UPS pick up even when you show them your email that clearly states it’s a Staples purchase. And then you inform them it’s an in-store online purchase and they go to another computer in the store to look it up. However, I had the barcode and all they had to do was look at it, zap it, and it would’ve appeared on their screen. So it is a complete waste of time to do online purchasing through this store. In addition, the employees don’t really care if you have to wait or not and actually when asking about an online counter pick up the first thing they tell you to do is go to the print shop. And at the print shop, they tell you no that’s not the counter for store purchases. Employees don’t know what they’re doing and when they do, they don’t care. I plan to go elsewhere to purchase...
Read moreI rarely go to this location to print out my shipping labels for packages I need to mail out, but when I do, there’s usually people who help me but today was not it. I went into the store to use the printer to print some labels and usually afterwards the employee there usually have tape for me to use. Well today, when I asked for some, this old lady said all they had was scotch tape (not the packaging one) but the small thin tape. So I used it to tape the shipping label for a package that was over $3,000 in value. Since it was small I needed to use the tape multiple times to make sure the label won’t get damage or come off during transit since it isn’t packaging tape. Just as I was about to leave, the old woman says “I think that’s enough tape don’t you think” with a very rude tone and glared at me. I just said “yes ma’am” I was just about to leave and she looked at me and rolled her eyes. The customer service here has really gone down and sure believe me I wont be returning to this location any time sooner. Hope you get your staffing issues fixed out as well as your training, cause...
