The "Texas Avenue Park" entrance is sprinkled with Colorful flowers, grasses, bushes & palms and Welcomes you right in through the Grand Arch! This is a Sweet Little Park in the Medical District of Clear Lake. It is across the street from the Post Office and the Main Entrance to Clear Lake Hospital on Texas Avenue. It nice to see that the Park Employees are always there keeping the park clean with a friendly smile & hello. The Big Beautiful Shade trees are a Welcome Respite from the Hot Texas Sun. Always a great place to go with friends and family. There are some charcoal grills scattered around the park in case you want to grill out, and there's a pavilion you can reserve for parties and big get-togethers. There's a covered basketball court too, which is pretty active usually in case you're looking for a pick-up game. A trail encircles the park if you want to walk, and there's both a playground and splash pad for kids. Other amenities include some tennis courts and a baseball field in the back. There are 2 parking lots - 1 near the basketball court and another near the tennis courts. A bathroom and water fountain are near the center.
