Don’t let the exterior fool you—Chickpea Grill near 37th Street in Union, NJ is an absolute gem! The food was incredible, full of flavor, fresh, and with plenty of delicious options to choose from. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the amazing service.

The staff was so pleasant, welcoming, and genuinely kind—we were greeted with smiles and treated like valued guests the entire time. Their hospitality really stood out, and it made the whole visit feel special.

Everything is delicious! This place has been here for a while it was formerly known as Garbanzo Grill. Luckily for us the only thing that changed was the owner and not the cook. It's been the same cook for 10 years who decided to invest I'm himself and his talent who became the new owner and manager. I had a very good experience at this restaurant! I ordered the sliced Cajun steak platter, which came with hummus, salad, shredded steak over rice and slices of grilled veggies. It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is still new, and the owners are incredibly nice and welcoming.
