I’ve been a patient since they opened. I liked how I was treated and they used to be very helpful.
Lately, they’ve made a lot of mistakes. Last month, I didn’t get a very important medication filled (as usual for the past year), even though it had a refill left. I can’t miss even 1 day, I missed 2 days and had to call myself due to their error. I’ve also been trying to fill another one since January 2nd and after wasting over 3 hours and over 6 calls between them, my doctor, and my insurance, I was told by the insurance company that the mistake was on the pharmacy’s end when sending the request because it is in fact covered in my plan.
I spoke to the owner Wendy and she was incredibly rude to my surprise since she has been helpful and professional in the past. When I calmly but frustratedly told her I’ve been a patient for 15 years and was disappointed with all these mistakes and the horrible customer service I’ve received lately, she cut me off to correct me that they’ve been open for only 10 years, I found her tone rude an unprofessional. That was my last straw, if this is how the owner is treating loyal customers for a valid concern/ complaint, I am immediately switching pharmacies. I’m not sure if she is having personal issues or work issues but this kind of service from the owner is so off-putting. Extremely, extremely rude and messy pharmacy, if you want a huge headache, go to them.
I am now at Anthony’s pharmacy and they have been an absolute dream to work with. Such easy, pleasant, and professional treatment.
Wendy and staff: please do better. I am highly considering filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
Edit: I appreciate the response but I did not ask for you to change any prescriptions. My issue was with my prescription getting declined after several calls and my insurance confirming it was the pharmacy's error by not submitting the request the same as the last time it was covered and filled (by you). Regarding changing the prescription, I was pretty clear that I would call my doctor and do that myself. Please do not try to excuse yourself with false information.
