About Designs provided florals and décor for our September 2021 wedding at the W Hoboken, and I would definitely recommend the team!

After being referred by a mutual friend's wedding in Hoboken/Jersey City, we first contacted Sonya and Eva. After reviewing the designs on their Instagram and website, we knew it was the perfect fit. We were looking for a florist that has both modern and timeless décor and would enhance the beauty of the NYC skyline behind us. The quality and style of their work stood out in a crowd of wedding vendors.

Our wedding was initially planned for November 2020, but we postponed it to September 2021 due to the pandemic. Sonya and Eva helped every step of the way and made it easy to postpone. They made the planning process simple and responded to my many wedding questions. They also helped re-design the flowers and color palette when our event changed seasons.

The team went above and beyond on the wedding day; they arrived early to drop off the bouquets/boutonnieres and start setting up. The ceremony, cocktail, and reception space were set up beautifully!

Sonya and Eva are nothing short of spectacular. From really, truly listening to my requests at the consultation to the very end when the pieces were delivered and completely elevated our venue, I could not ask for more from a florist. What really separates them from other florists is the attention to detail; I was really heard when I saw the proposals and the final product. Everything I requested was there in a timely manner and absolutely stunning, no matter the weather or the circumstance (we had rocky water on our yacht venue on a very windy day). They are the absolute professionals and know how to take your vision and make it more than you ever expected. They even suggested to add pieces to the cake, something I am so glad they did because it was exactly what I wanted and I didn't even know it. Sonya did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding! We had multiple spots to receive flowers the day of- hotel, church, and reception. Sonya was on time and everything was delivered with such care. I had a pretty specific vision for my wedding. I wanted classic bridal elements that would work mixed into a more contemporary reception space. Sonya brought my vision to life! The quality of the flowers (think beautiful large roses and dahlias) were incredible, and she worked in some really unique elements to make them feel more contemporary (bunny tail, silver dollar lunaria etc.) Sonya is a pleasure to work with and really guided me in executing what I wanted while staying in my budget. I really loved being able to have a trial with her where we could work with the flowers directly, and we had a final Zoom meeting right before our wedding date.
