Suzie’s Health Solutions was a godsend. I recently lost my health insurance and COBRA was not affordable. I went to what I thought was the Washington health finders website but while I had no way of knowing, it was a clone. As a result we were inundated with health insurance provider calls where they were very clearly motivated by sales and commissions and not providing education and guidance. Desperate for an affordable, comprehensive insurance option, we signed up only to later learn about a long list of exclusions and limited major medical coverage in an emergent situation. It was a nightmare.

Desperate for a better way I finally googled insurance brokers and found Suzie. What a breathe of fresh air! Suzie is very knowledgeable, guided us through our best options and immediately signed us up for the best possible plan. There was no pressure sales, only guidance and education despite the fact that she wouldn’t earn a commission on us. I offered to pay a consultation fee but she declined insisting that her only priority is making sure we had what we needed. Everyone going to the marketplace for health insurance needs an advocate. UPDATE: I have sent several people to Suzie for help and they have all come back raving about her kindness, upbeat attitude, and her ability to break down something that scares so many of us. Suzie has now helped at least 5 of my friends, plus helped me navigate changes as they occur (and boy have there been a lot of them!). I cannot recommend her enough.

A year ago: Suzie McColm assisted me. I’m a recent graduate with my master’s degree and I’ve had Affordable Care the entire time I was in school.
