I came in to do an online return, I processed it online and was told I had until October 7 before my return window closed. The worker I first spoke to said it was not showing up on his end and that it was outside of the window, despite on the order details saying I had until October 7. He told me to contact customer service because it may be a glitch but he canāt do anything.
I speak with customer service, they tell me I have until October 7 and the issue is at the store and advised me to tell them I have until October 7. I return back, less than an hour later and deal with the same worker again. I explain what customer service said, he tries and said he has the same issue again. He calls customer service, speaks with them and then has me speak with them. The person on the phone assisting me is very confusing and not helpful at all, tried telling me I was outside of the window despite previous customer service telling me Iām fine. He supposedly is sending me emails that I do not get and when I finally do, the worker says the QR code does not work.
The manager, who has been standing there this whole time, points out weāve been on the phone for 41 minutes. She finally steps in to help after she sees customer service isnāt helping and says sheāll just push through the return and Iām refunded. Took her less than 2 minutes. On top of that, I had requested merchant credit but she just pushed it through without asking.
Iām just a little annoyed that I was at the store for basically an hour and the manager waited until the very end to step in to help, especially since it seems like she could have pushed my return through a lot quicker. Rudely threw away my drink in an attempt to give my fitting room to another person while I checked out with an item I was going to change into to wear out the store. The fitting room had my personal belongings they touched and a full drink they threw away without my permission. I told 3 staff members I needed the room and to not give it away. I was away for maybe 3 minutes and in that time they threw away my drink and touched my belongings. They accused me of not communicating anything with them when other customers said they heard me tell multiple staff members. Offered no solutions or apologies and stated I should communicate better. On top of this not one person greeted us and the store is poorly ran. The entire staff needs an in depth training on customer service and a revamp in staffing. The woman on the other end reassured me they would stay open until 7 pm. I would never want to keep a store and employees past their working hours... but to arrive within 5 minutes before closing to find the doors locked is a bit disappointing.
Trying to call them multiple times to the store and was met only with busy tones and being left on dial. When I finally got someone's attention in the store they came out to unlock the doors and tell me the store's closed.
